Yes, Leon and Ashley. Now you can stand there with bizarre expressions on your faces and that's understandable, but when you think about it there's a certain appeal to it. You have this vulnerable young woman who finds herself taken away from the luxury of being the President's daughter and in a foreign land, hunted by a cult that want to inject her with a parasite.

She's alone, frightened and obviously can't defend herself. Then along comes Leon S. Kennedy, never even met before and yet he's the only person who she can depend on to save her. The circumstances of all this would craft a bond between the two, I wouldn't say it is a romantic pairing as such but more like a family bond, like an elder brother.

I mean, you could go down the romantic route if you wanted to and it could work just as well. When you have more than one person in the same situation, they form bonds with each other, like hostages being held captive. Granted you could say the same thing about Claire and Leon but in RE2 they were more of a family unit than a pairing, especially with Sherry. I'm no doubt sounding like a colossal mutant right now and acting very uncharacteristically with this post but chalk it up to a lack of sleep and constant playing of RE4.

In my opinion I think it's certainly feasible.

When you think about it, she might look up to Leon near the end of the game and maybe even have feelings towards this one man who has gone through so much to protect her. Sure, you could argue that he's just doing his job but I don't know, I like to think that there might have been something. I think it's more feasible than Ada and Leon. Ada has fucked over Leon at almost every encounter they've had in the series.

Even though Leon turns her down near the ending, I always thought there was a little something there. I agree, I think it's more than feasible.

I don't know, I think Ada just fucks around with him. But you can't blame her really, they're fighting a war on different sides and unfortunately it's the mission that ultimately drives a wedge between them. They're both loyal to their own mission, something that causes a conflict of interest.

Christ, the hell is wrong with me? I'm talking about possible relationships between fictional characters. I've been spending too much time around you people, I swear.

When your boss's daughter, and your boss if the President of the United States, asks if you want to bang her, just say no, people.

I'd like it more if Ashley's voice wasn't so damn ear piercing. That's something people forget. She really was helpful to leon/the player, and did what she could even in her own game section. The only time she gets docked points from me is the said voice, and the time she /shoves Leon away and runs right into a trap./ ><

I like Ashley, I don't understand why people hate her so much, even "Leon! Help" is just background noise to me. I just think they should have developed more the situation of her having a parasite inside her body that's going to take over her brain, but then I realise it's Resident Evil and the one time she freaks out is more than I should expect to see.

Leon/Ashley? Srsly? Leon has 0 interest in Ashley xD

And the things Leon and Ashley went through together do NOT amount to the things Ada and Leon went through together.

The Ada/Leon relationship is intensely complicated.

If Leon had a Facebook it would say:

                  It's Complicated with Ada Wong

                    Don't give Capcom ideas.

It's bad enough they gave everyone Twitter accounts.

Leon + Ada because the chase is so good. Steve + Claire because Steve is precious.

Just copying and pasting from a post I made over on Project Umbrella in a similar thread, since I think it's relevant:

None of the characters in Resident Evil ever really struck me as the types to settle down with someone. Well, none of the main characters who we've seen return over the years, anyway (so I'm excluding characters like Rebecca, Billy, Carlos, Steve, etc, from this analysis). Not because I think they have commitment issues or anything like that, but rather because they all come across as being so devoted to their individual causes that they simply wouldn't have time to actually pursue a real relationship. Or even if they did have the time, they just wouldn't bother, because, with the possible exception of Claire, all live lives that aren't exactly conducive to building a healthy relationship with someone.
                        Also:

I've never really understood the concept of 'shipping among fans of any property, but to each their own. Maybe it's just because I'm a guy, or maybe it's because Capcom doesn't really seem interested in pursuing that type of thing with its characters. I recall a fan even going so far as to ask Jun Takeuchi why Chris and Jill didn't hook up at the end of RE5, and he basically said that there doesn't always have to be a romantic connection between two characters, even if they are very close and have known each other forever. I, personally, agree with that, but again, it might just be because I'm a guy.
For that matter, I never really thought of Chris and Jill as being all that close over the course of the series. It always seemed more like something fans were just reading too much into, and Capcom decided to just take that ball and run with it in RE5, where it was constantly rammed down our throats that Chris and Jill were partners.

The only characters that have had an actual relationship in the entire series are Bruce and Fong Ling, and even that was little more than a James Bond-style fling (granted, we never got to see how far it progressed).

It's a fandom xD There will be shipping, fanfiction, and fanart.

I love Leon/Ada, but them settling down together is far from what I want. I love the dynamics of their relationship.

I don't think it's strange, I actually like Ashley/Leon. I also like Leon/Ada. In my opinion, I think both couples could work.
I don't understand why everyone hates Ashley's voice. I found nothing wrong with it, and in some cases, I thought her voice was kinda cute. She really did do her best to help Leon, as Inferno said.

Barry and his briefly seen wife!

He actually betrays his closest friends/colleagues to ensure the safety of his family so he must love them a lot plus once the Mansion Incident was over he basically never got involved again with the brief exception of RE3. The most realistic character of them all, look after your family people . . .

You can see Barry's wife and two daughters in one of the RE3 epilogue screens.

                                Mass production? Ridiculous!
