Reminds me of Homer in The Simpsons Movie. Making the chainsaw noise with his mouth. I'm sure BOWs think the same way.

Well, it is a very f***ed up mouth, who knows.

I thought this video was interesting, because Hirabayashi directly addresses players' concerns regarding the camera placement as well as the screen tearing from the E3 demo.
They have adjusted the angle of the camera when aiming now, so the character is further off to the side, and they are continually working to eliminate as much screen tearing as possible.

They've been changing them since E3. They've been pretty open to feedback.Originally posted by Tyrant Rose View PostGood God, is Capcom actually responding to fan concerns and changing the game accordingly? Black is white! Up is down!
And as always, the marketing dweebs come out with shit like "can't change the camera because the game is so close to release". Talk about an internal disconnect.PROJECT Umbrella - The BIOHAZARD/RESIDENT EVIL Compendium

I'm going to play in the order Leon, Jake, Chris. I expect Leon to play really slow in segments and if I play that after the fast paced nature of Jake/Chris I can see it being annoying, so that gonna be out the way first. Jake comes next because I feel Chris with have a better 'finisher' to the game than Jake will, so save the best until last.Beanovsky Durst - "They are not pervs. They are japanese."

Hirabayashi seems to be one of the more honest and knowledgeable ones. Kobayashi and Takenaka are pretty cool too. All three are producers on the game, which we'll find out soon enough whether that's a good thing or not.Originally posted by Archelon View PostI have to say, I really like Hirabayashi after watching the Gamespot and Capcom Unity videos.
Much more so than Takeuchi or Kawata.PROJECT Umbrella - The BIOHAZARD/RESIDENT EVIL Compendium

Takeuchi had some of the best ideas (Chris and Barry co-op, come on, who could NOT love that!?), the whole zombies and Tyrants again (including one killing Excella on Wesker's orders in the same manner one "killed" Wesker). He also wanted Chris to start out with a magnum, the Lightning Hawk if I remember correctly (before the dev team changed it to his M93R).
Then he also had the hallucinations gameplay, along with the whole dehydration as well if I recall correctly.
And the RE5 of 2007 looks like it could have been one of the best Resident Evil titles and games in general.
Too bad all of those were scrapped. Criminals. Criminals I say.

Lol, I know. Maybe they're afraid the world is going to end in December and are adjusting their strategies to acquire better karma.Originally posted by Tyrant Rose View PostGood God, is Capcom actually responding to fan concerns and changing the game accordingly? Black is white! Up is down!
This version of RE5 would have been light years beyond the shitty version we got. Which asshat at Capcom actually thought that the final version of RE5 was a good idea compared to this?!Originally posted by ElusionM View PostTakeuchi had some of the best ideas (Chris and Barry co-op, come on, who could NOT love that!?), the whole zombies and Tyrants again (including one killing Excella on Wesker's orders in the same manner one "killed" Wesker). He wanted Chris to carry a .45, like a Colt 1911. The rest of the team protested and gave Chris a Beretta M92F instead. Supposedly behind Takeuchi's back, at that.Originally posted by ElusionM View PostHe also wanted Chris to start out with a magnum, the Lightning Hawk if I remember correctly (before the dev team changed it to his M93R).
Also, co-op was Takeuchi's idea. He was the one who really pushed for it.Last edited by Archelon; 07-13-2012, 09:56 PM.

Just to clarify, the pistol Chris starts out with in RE5 is the Beretta M9 (Also known as the Beretta 92FS). The M93R is a pistol built on the same frame with a collapsible/removable stock that has three round burst capability. It's also unlockable in RE5, as I'm sure you know.Originally posted by ElusionM View PostTakeuchi had some of the best ideas (Chris and Barry co-op, come on, who could NOT love that!?), the whole zombies and Tyrants again (including one killing Excella on Wesker's orders in the same manner one "killed" Wesker).
