Haven't done anything of the sort. I'm pro-RE6. On board. Loyal to the end. Not to mention the financial benefits from siding with a game that has a lot of people excited.

"You'll buy anything with RE on it!"
^ Because that's not insulting at all.

Yes, but very briefly (when compared to Chris's story). I respect your dedication to the series' canon, but how can you possibly deny that Sheva as a playable co-op partner was a last-minute decision? The game was (minus that one scene in chapter 3-1) entirely about Chris. Yet the game seemed to imply that Sheva was just as important to the story as Chris was. She wasn't.Originally posted by News Bot View PostSheva actually does mention her past in-game.
Sheva was shoehorned in, and for me, it ruined the game.Last edited by Det. Beauregard; 05-25-2012, 03:33 AM.Mass production? Ridiculous!

Couldnt agree more. I think she was shoved in there because of the accusations of racism towards RE5Originally posted by Det. Because it wasn't a last-minute decision? This is a pretty stone cold fact. The entire game is built around co-op. Not just from a plot perspective, but from a gameplay perspective too. Co-op was introduced even before the story was finalized, and Sheva was a major character right from the concept stages of the game. Karen Dyer was attached to the project very early and conducted her motion capture and voice acting at the exact same time as everyone else (both of which, again, based around co-op and cost millions of dollars), she wasn't flown in late into development. Sheva wasn't portrayed as important to the plot, she was portrayed for what she was: Chris's partner. The same way Piers and Helena will be portrayed for what they are. Just because you don't like her character or co-op does not mean you should start looking for excuses to try and say she somehow ruined the game (completely subjective) or was shoe-horned in for whatever reason. It's simply incorrect, and pointless when you don't actually base the assumption on any evidence.Originally posted by Det. Beauregard View PostYes, but very briefly (when compared to Chris's story). You are quite wrong. CAPCOM wouldn't waste millions of dollars re-doing a game because of one black lady on a random Internet blog.Couldnt agree more.
