No, a lot of fans don't. It's similar to 1.5 - lots of people in the community would like to see it come back, but we're talking maybe a few hundred people. Maybe a few thousand. Capcom's looking at selling millions. And Outbreak has a bad reputation among for the screw ups the first one made - even the stuff the second one fixed.
I'd love to see it on the 360 or PSN, or even the Wii, but unless it's dirt cheap (no HD upgrade) then I don't see it happening.Comment

Well you cant be 100% sure because i believe the reason outbreak dident sell so well was the fact that ( first of all) outbreak 1 never came with online to europe second, it was kinda a pain to get the online working back then... so i believe it could do alot better today because of psn,xbox live... its so easy you log in you buy/download the game thats it... so i still think it could do very good.Originally posted by Darkmoon View Post

And how many games that have sold as poorly as Outbreak have been released? In the end it's about cash, and unless Capcom have a reason to think it will sell well (the first version selling well, exceptionally high demand - no, a few thousand fans wanting it is not exceptional) they won't do it.
Plus I suspect the online architecture for the PS2 and the PS3/360 are different enough to make it a problem.Comment

Uum These numbers are speaking against you... actually outbreak did alot better than some of the other resident evil games.
So hell yes i think outbreak would do so much better today.
