Shit. It sucks when someone we all know about get's injured and it's even worse when it's a friend or someone we communicate often with. If I was a praying man, I'd pray for your speedy recovery, but instead, I will send you some get well soon eCards and hope they work the same.

It's kind of crazy the way accidents happen like that. My only accident with a car occurred because it was raining and I hydroplaned into a tree. I survived, but the tree didn't. My car wasn't drivable but I got most of the damage fixed (shady mechanics are shady). Collosions with other cars are a whole mess when it comes to insurance and the whole shebang. My girlfriend is an auto-damage adjuster for Geico, so I hear horror stories of the cars she has to write up for insurance purposes. The world is batshit crazy sometimes, man.

Dot's probably in a shit ton of pain due to his fractures, but hopefully he'll feel better soon since he's probably either getting vicodin or percocets for the pain... It doesn't take it away, you just don't think about it as much.

The world is batshit crazy sometimes, man.

Indeed, going out in a vehicle is the worst way to go.. I'm lucky to of not seen anything too disgusting other than blood on the road, but I do a hear a lot of regular stories here.. decapitations (scooters), people mashed up in truck wheels, old poor people being run over twice (to avoid going to prison), think the worst one was some chemical spill - some girl tried to help and all they found of her was her teeth and skull fragments.

Though I feel safer in a car than an airplane.. not that I'm scared of flying, I heard that people may have been alive for awhile when that Air France flight 447 crashed into the Atlantic. Not cool!

Someone at work knows someone who's been sent to prison for killing someone in a crash. Went speeding onto a roundabout at 40mph, crashed into some woman who had her window open, her head jolted out the window into a lamppost and took her head off. Roads can be dangerous.
