The internet is full of 11 year old idiots (and much older idiots with the minds of 11 year old idiots). This guy has something which as Skunky referred to (and what I had used before to refer to it as) the holy grail of RE. Of course he's going to get emails, both pleading & threatening, from grade & junior high school idiots who don't know any better and think something will actually come from it. That's just the nature of humans on any medium. I'm sure when Tickle Me Elmos were huge back in like '95 (I still don't know what the fuck for), every store that had a limited supply was getting threats, pleads, and deals all over the place. You have to be ready for these things if you get an item in that much demand and present it to people.

Meaning that he could sell it to multiple people?

yea, thats a shame, why would be people threaten some one over a game...that stuff is not cool, as much as I would love to get my hand on it, peoples lives are more importiant, I hope those nut jobs get pwned...but the irony that the guy has never played RE gets his hand on it is so weak...well if it comes down to it, I want to see a full video of everything there is.

Im was only recently introduced to the early builds(1.5 and 3.5) and i finally understand what makes you guys tick.

It was nice seeing the game actually being played instead of a trailer. I thought the item pickup thing was quite cool.. not sure if I prefer it or not but it's different at least.

Oh, well, this is a positive step. At least we know it exists and that an online museum managed to get a copy. I expected it to surface in Japan.

As I said on Bioflames. On one hand, I do agree that I'm sure many people went too far, but on the other hand anyone should know if they reveal such a sought after item to the community that many people are going to get passionate and it's guaranteed there will be a few nuts who go overboard. Especially since you know most of the people who sent any threats are just hot-headed people who are frustrated and obviously don't mean them.

11 years has been a long time. You would think it has taught us patience and calmness. But then, we've never had a legitimate copy of 1.5 show up like this and end up this close, so it's understandable. As for whether or not he truly has a copy, I know several people have debated that considering the content in the video is similar to old screenshots and don't show a single new RPD room or sewer, despite it showing new video of areas we've seen before but not video of. But regardless he has more that we haven't seen, though judging from confidential circumstances that Dot and Staff can't discuss, we are pretty sure he does a copy or at least has immediate access to the copy.

We all just want to play the game. We just have to hope.
