What the HELL is that?

THIA's April fools joke 2008. It all got a little out of hand .

The Biohazard ad arts book, while it doesn't have alot of cover art, has a lot of cool reproductions of some ads from the series. Only the Japanese games but (unfortunately).

Though, I seem to recall my copy not having the ONM score/comment in the upper right hand corner.

That's the UK cover you put up there, we Norwegians probably got some "European" version - which I don't really have pictures of on my site, so don't know if exists. Personally I got an Australian one (without score thing), but I bought it second hand...

Fun fact: The French edition has some text in the upper right corner not found on any of the other (confirmed) European editions. (Don't know what it says though, only have small image.)

Will this version support widescreen + progressive scan? Did the RE0 port support these?

Progressive scan, maybe. Widescreen nope...
That's what makes the Wii versions so pointless. They are essentially just GC 're-releases' with a box saying Wii instead of Game Cube. That and the use of that silly Wiimote instead of a pad.
I think that Capcom thinks, that maybe they will sell because people with Wiis are looking in the Wii section in stores, for games to buy. While in most stores the GC section no longer exists...

(...)As for the Jill profile shot on this cover...it screams "Mystery Woman." As that is the profile shot you get of her in the RE5 trailer...the clues are there, people! Either that, or I am crazy!

Now that is a biiig stretch but "who knows? Could kick ass, could totally suck..." lol. Now seriously, i think it was nicely pointed out and it really makes somekind of logic! I just don't know if Capcom would "cross" two titles like that (on different platforms) but, although i can't quite believe it, to me it would kick ass if they did!

Sorry, but imho, the US Cover looks horrid.
Either way, I like the Wii cover, I dont know why, it just looks awesome to me, and is actually behind the NGC JP one and beats the PAL NGC one.

PAL covers are always better than US covers, everyone knows that. Who the hell knows why?

I don't like the REmake PAL front cover much because to me it's over simplistic, but i love its back though. To me the best cover is the JP - it makes me think "Wow, what a mansion!" lol - but i also like the US cover too, although i understand some people don't like to have the heroes on the cover, i think they chose a good place from the mansion as it's the first zombie to appear and it's kind of creepy

Yea the JP covers are always the best. If fact they always get the good stuff or stuff that is never even released in the US.

It looks like they just took her face texture and put it on the front cover.
I personally don't mind it, but it's not my favourite of the regions, the JP one is, and I don't know why:



It's even simpler than the RE NGC PAL.
And I love it.

I like RECV PAL cover, the only thing it's quite dissapointing is that it looks like they found a not very high res picture of that because it looks pretty blurry.

Unfortunately the box cover is the only thing that is going for this port. If you can take the GameCube version and put it in your Wii, then why do you need this port? I think Capcom does some good things sometimes, but its things like this that are so pointless. I'm surprised no one in management speaks up. Are these Wii ports actually selling over there?

How long do we have to wait until the next RE side game? It's been forever. If they'd stop porting so god **** much............. >_>

So... we don't need/want Greatest Hits, Platinum releases, PlayStation the Best, Xbox Classics, PC ports (or late ports to other consoles) and PSN downloads of PSX games? No reprints at all? Games only available on a first come basis? ;)
