I don't think the picture shows a mercenaries screenshots, there are both Chris and Sheva, and during the mercenaries minigame or battle games the character is usually alone.

Maybe a countdown, as Archelon already pointed... and also, don't forget the Leon vs Krauser fight

It's right when you hear Chris start to say, "Sheva, you don't have to do this. You can still back out." It looks like Chris, Sheva, and the BSAA soldier are standing on a floating platform or something.

OMG you're right It seems the same place...
so there is a part of the game when we have to escape before the blow-up, but probably that's not the "big final self distruction explosion" maybe it happens after/during a boss fight, just like the Krauser fight I think.

Judging from the location, I'd wager it's after that place explodes that Chris and Sheva get on the marsh boat and head wherever.

In my mind, he's one of the "Executioner" dudes, without the hood and butcher's smock. I mean, in the one trailer, there's a burst of flames that toasts Chris, yet the fat dude just waltzes right on through the flames. In his boxers. WTF?

3 of the screens have the timer. That is interesting. But as others have said, it could be a 'escape the area before it blows up' scenario, in the main game.
Those big crocodiles look awesome! I hadn't seen those before.

I think I've nearly seen enough...

I don't want to see every enemy, every boss and every area in the game, before playing it. It's damn hard to resist clicking on all the new stuff, though.
But I think I'll impose an RE5 information embargo on myself soon.
