Resident Evil 5 Introduced to Spain

Capcom held a recent event in Spain to show off Resident Evil 5. Producer Masachika Kawata was there to answer questions from fans and members of the press. GameProTV was there to cover the event, and they have released a video online of their coverage.

It must be noted that the footage is entirely in Spanish.

I'll translate the new things (well... things I haven't heard before), Kawata says:
- (he doesn't say this with this exact words, but he ment it) we didn't want to use RE's popularity, insted we wanted RE5 to achieve its own "fame"
- Co-op wasn't in the proyect from the begining
- Co-producer Sakeguchi thought co-op was to dificult to achieve, technically speaking; but now they are happy with the results
- We can say that we have created a new type of Survival Horror
