Wouldn't Midnight be the best though? With that weak pistol, you can just keep racking up +5's with every time you melee kill someone.

An understandable first impression, but perhaps you should become more aquainted with the games formula. BH5's Mercs is completely different from BH4's. The biggest factor is not combo, instead time remaining after routing the maximum number of 150. If you are trying to top leaderboards or even come marginally close, 150 combo is a must. The aspect that differentiates top scores is time remaining, which adds up to a hefty amount of bonus points. Needless to say, all of those +5's are what makes your score.Originally posted by ChrisRedfield29 View PostI just have to say I strongly disagree with Tribal Sheva being ranked at the bottom. The fact that she doesn't get 5 extra seconds on melee kills is made irrelevant by how ridiculously easy it is to rack up combos with her one-hit-kill longbow.
Let's say you kill 130/150 enemies with melee, that is 650 extra seconds. Every second left on the clock equals one thousand points. Therefore you would have 650,000 points in bonus. Are those five seconds still irrelevant?
As for Jill being weak. We know, good. Sweeps into +5's all day long, versus overpowered attacks which lead to missing +5's. Also Midnight is a better boss killer and while STARS Hydra is a beautiful weapon, it serves no purpose in Mercs. If this were BH4's formula it'd be completely different, but it isn't. These are the basics, they are a given in order for this article to make any sense.
