Our friends over at REvil have put up a new audio interview with the voice actor behind Albert Wesker in RE5, D.C Douglas. He talks about RE5, Umbrella Chronicles, and reveals that Wesker is limited to just a flashback in the forthcoming Darkside Chronicles. Listen to the interview here. a small flashback.......if I can guess: 1-2 minutes first encounter with Claire, 1-2 minutes first encounter with Chris, 2-3 minutes fight with Alexia, 3-4 minutes end fight with Chris.......so it's 10-11 minutes....still a small flahback

Eugh. The attention seeking of the voice actors from RE5 drove me up the wall in the run up to that game's release, i hope it's not going to be the same for DSC. There's only so much over-analysing one attention-whore's comments can take.

How is that attention seeking? o_O I doubt they're going out and begging people to interview them. Quite the contrary, people, fans even, love to go to THEM and ask all sorts of questions. It's a win win situation, because the fans are getting responded to, and are interested in interviews like this. And in turn, the voice actors have every right to be invested in the roles they play, thus enjoy talking about their experience. I think that Douglas did his research and had a good time with voicing Wesker speaks for itself well in that respect.

Some ppl have this idea that DSC is like a complete remake of CV. It's not. It actually follows a particular concept. One that doesn't centers around Weskey but on other characters.

And I completely support voice-over actors getting into the spotlight. Such line of work pays like crap and most of the time they don't get enough credit. It's great to see them get more exposure. To them is part of how they make a living. It's not a freakin' hobby.

Oh man this is awesome! XD I'm happy at Wesker only being in a single flashback. Even though I like him. His story with Chris sucked and I'm glad it's being removed, or severely condensed anyways.

And this gets rid of that horrible rumor that Chris and Wesker's fight will be playable.

Who cared anyways, it's a rehash, it's not like this is canon or anything to care about. It's a Wii Rail shooter.

Well it kinda makes you wonder where the flashback will show up and what the context of the clip will be. I just want to have Chris' reaction to finding out Wesker is alive...even if it is just Alexia mentioning it to him.
