Update patch is only 168mb? That still seems incredibly small for even ONE let alone TWO new chapters and whatever else there is.
Update patches don't have all the content, just the needed data such as menus and in this case, the figures with it's textures and sounds. Since the trailer on Live is around 170 MB I highly doubt that's the size of the episodes.
The one at Biohaze is from GameSpot, so it was the best quality at the time it was posted. Did you upload the one from Live?
Edit: Damn, now checking the original file, it's actually not HD, even though I clicked to download the "HD" labelled version from GameSpot... weird!
This is the trailer coming from the Capcom Europe press site. I think this is the best quality you can find. The original file is better, but it's not easy to share such a huge file (500 Mo for a trailer)...

Well, when Versus came out i was told that the content was being loaded beforehand and what you'd buy on either marketplace was an unlock key. I would still say 168mb would be too big for whatever people are saying it is now too.
2.00-esque updates are generally reserved for big things, not random additions like these. That was my thinking anyway.
We'll soon find out if we're downloading another update on top of this 168mb file, or whether it's just unlock keys we're downloading in a month's time...wonder if the content is on the disc already haha
I read that when updates are published on the PSN, Sony foots the hosting bill. However with DLC, the publishers have to pay Sony for the hosting. To get around this, my understanding is that alot of publishers put most content into large mandatory updates (which they don't pay for), and sell tiny unlock keys (which they do pay for), at least on the PSN.
I'll try find the article on Sony's policy.
In short, I wouldn't be suprised at all if this is the DLC, and come February the file downloads are only a few kb.
SCRAP THAT.
Only free downloads attract fees from publishers from Sony. Paid DLC does not.
Anybody else just love the piano that starts around :20-:25? The way it's muting everything out just as the flashback of 'Chris and Jill v. Wesker era 2006' is really haunting, imo. Maybe I just have a thing with pianos.
Look's amazing so far. I'm more hyped for this than I was for the original Res5 release. I loved Resident Evil 1 and everything about it (Especially Remake) so to revisit a similar mansion again is going to be epic and it's Hdmi!
