RE : Afterlife Iphone Game

It looks absolutely terrible. I was hoping it would be more similar to the Resident Evil: Degeneration iPhone game.

That would explain the results. A movie company making a 3D movie game.

Upon further inspection, it seems they have a department solely dedicated to the development of mobile games, called Sony Pictures Mobile. I guess they are responsible for it. The game data also reveals that it runs on the Irrlicht Engine.
