While I do tire of going back to Raccoon City (AGAIN) I'll wait to hear more about the game play.

This is the gap in between RE sequels where the ports and spin offs begin to surface. I'm still waiting on RE6 info and for the time being could care less about 3DS titles, HD ports of older games or even this Raccoon City adventure.

It's been known for a long time now that Slant Six ARE developing a Resident Evil title, that's a fact. So why would the official publication take an existing title which is in development and then fill an entire article with made up bullshit?

Who wins in that one? Do you think for a second that Capcom would allow it?

Like Darkmoon said, this could be an April Fools joke for OXM that was leaked early.

And considering that gaming magazines are quite fond of those type of jokes (see GamePro & EGM) and that such jokes need to prepared weeks before they're published... there is some chance that this story is fake.

I'm 60/40, leaning towards it being legit though.

For an April Fool, it's early, and doesn't lean towards any further updates on the story to come later on so for all intents and purposes, it's a done story on there.

I find it odd so much info is released about the game but not a screenshot or scan...

That's par for the course though with things like this, several times we've had Resident Evil news from Famitsu but had to wait hours later for scans to appear.

What I would ask is has anyone heard of StickSkills before today?

And like I said yesterday, bit odd if the French PS3 magazine was leading with the RE4 and CV ports as their main hook this month isn't it? Would make sense that a new game is on the verge of being announced.
