That's what I meant... shooters and action games are all the rage here at the moment. Shit gotta stop someday.

Dating sims will probably never be a hit here, though. Dateless wonders seem to be more prevalent in Japan.

But maybe a game where you can get characters to "connect" with each other. And maybe allow you to get beyond that platonic nonsense.

Ahem... look, Capcom obviously needs the money. What they did with ORC is no different from what Ubisoft did when they sold those games targeting casuals. That company used the mulah they made with those type of games to eventually fund their core game efforts.

So it's perfectly fine that ORC sold well... because the game is basically a sign of the times that we live in.

Maybe down the line, shooter/action games will stop being the top genre and who knows... maybe dating-sim games will be the next big thing.

Can we get an exact number - split into two categories; Actual units shipped and units shipped to Smiley?

This is... pretty depressing. :| Hoping that Slant Six never touches the RE brand again, but now they have drive to do it.

Make more of them Capcom... Oh, you will anyways.

So when is Capcom going to bundle together the sales numbers of RE4 like they did with RE5? If they did, then more people that have a liking for the new direction the franchise has taken, will be able to point to that chart and say: "see? action-shooters-horror are better than survival-horror".

Yet somehow, Capcom is still not happy with their numbers... "sluggish" they said. They still want MOAR revenue. Makes $en$e.
