On another note, I wonder why nobody has so much as mentioned Kirk's "What the fuck are those!?". First use of "Fuck" in the series.

Oh, and I found an easter egg of sorts. At the point right before the helicopter flies across the screen in Shanty Town, if you have control types A or B selected, position the camera at the point where the helicopter usually appears. You'll get an up-close shot of the chopper and the B.O.W's ravaging it.

I don't own a 360, so I'm going to borrow my friends this week... of course I couldn't wait to play the demo, so I was kinda lucky I had a second option.

Last year at my job, the technical guys requested some sort of stats monitoring for our entire server network and thus got some screens provided to them... 4 to be exact, 4 linked 42" wall mounted plasmas. Sometime earlier this year all of a sudden an X-Box 360 and Wii turned up connected to them...

So of course, I couldn't miss this chance.

Just so we're clear, that is obscene and I'm considering taking action against you. Seriously. No one should ever be allowed to play a game like that. No one but me, anyway.

Come prepared? Really, that's a moot argument.

It removes RE4's horrible micro-managing of equipment which was tedious and pointless, as-well as utterly time wasting. It also adds a degree of difficulty to the game, something RE4 generally lacked altogether.

It's a bit difficult to "be prepared" when you start with basically nothing, you pick it all up during the big fights, when you don't have the opportunity to fiddle around in the menu assigning items and such. Why couldn't they have kept that stupid system for co-op mode (since i can understand why it needs to be there) and have the regular menu for the single player? There's a lot of "why couldn't they" going on in this game, like "why couldn't they have made something original rather than a re-hash of everything they just did?" It's awful, and lazy, and i'm not giving it any money. I'll watch all the cut scenes on YouTube, the story is all im interested in, and i don't even have high hopes for that.

Earlier in that same playthrough, Chris walked up to the enemy with the bottle, located in the corner of the second shack, and stood right in front of him. The enemy didn't flinch and just stood still for like 3 seconds until Dot shot him in the face. ROFL

The same thing happend to me in every game, I guess the guy is drunk, I hope this things get fixed for the final version.

Yeah, I never saw Sheva do that move. I'm encoding a video now of all of them. Each person has 5 moves.

Has anyone else seen Sheva's crazy flip move? It's some kind of wrestling move, but since i don't watch Wrestling i can't name it, just describe it...

She jumps onto an enemy's shoulders from the front, wraps her legs around their neck and flips off so they hit their head on the floor... Brutal! I've got no idea how it happened, but i was playing with this one Japanese guy and he pulled it off somehow. I think you may even have to chain up meele moves with your partner to do it...

I'm lazy. So I haven't read back, but did you use the same tool me and Dot50Cal used for extracting the videos (mentioned in the newspost on the subject)?
If you just "stripped it out", the video and audio tracks come out all garbled (sans the first frame(s)).

Plays fine here ;) I'm finally uploaded this. I'll put it up as WIP Trailer 9, since it doesn't seem to play anywhere in the demo, and looks like a rather unfinished trailer. You need something to decompress WMV9 Advanced Profile. WMP11 does the trick.

IIRC, the ARC format used in Bio5 is the same format used by Dead Rising.

I managed to extract the following files from the Bio5 Demo ISO:

Plays fine here ;) I'm finally uploaded this. I'll put it up as WIP Trailer 9, since it doesn't seem to play anywhere in the demo, and looks like a rather unfinished trailer. You need something to decompress WMV9 Advanced Profile. WMP11 does the trick.

Things are certainly compressed quite a bit here, and audio bitrate is below DVD standards, and the video bitrate is on par. Hopefully this is just a work in progress for the demo.

Actually, theres no FMV in this, besides the title screen. That grain you see during cutscenes is added in over the realtime gameplay.

Working in a library has given me OCD, so getting everything in the case organized was fun for me.

Come prepared? Really, that's a moot argument.

It removes RE4's horrible micro-managing of equipment which was tedious and pointless, as-well as utterly time wasting. It also adds a degree of difficulty to the game, something RE4 generally lacked altogether.

Working in a library has given me OCD, so getting everything in the case organized was fun for me. And it would have been better if you could have used Ashley...giving her items to hold. Turning her into a pack mule would have been a bit amusing.

The real time items menu is slightly growing on me...but there are some annoying points where Sheva will run out of ammo and simply stand there waiting while I have to either kill everything and wait for ammo to drop or risked getting attacked while handing her some. And when she's standing their waiting, she becomes an open target and then I have to worry about giving her herbs as well. By default though I usually hand over the medical supplies to her at the beginning or order her to pick them up when we pass them.
