Not even a port, just a translation on the same console. They've done this before. Earth Defense Force 2028, 7 swords, and Bullet Witch, were are all games that were out in Japan for a few years before they translated them and released them in the USA. They were all good games, but they were too old to pay full price for. (I got them all used for under $20)Comment

Well let me tell you something, Zombie Hunters 2 (One chanbara 2) is violenty ripped. There's no Intro of the game, no japanese music. The music from the japanese version is so cool, and it has a pretty well done intro for the game, but the port got a ridiculous music than repeats all the time. Onechanbara 2 has cool tracks, about 4 minutes of janapese girls singing. You realize that when you see that US port is 450 MB while Onechanbara 2 is 710 MB.... ¬¬
Beef, and what do you think? You mean, ports should have had some extras?
Some games were ported and they were exactly the same as they were in the original release for a certain console.
I do really like this series, haven't played yet Wii or Xbox version, I want them to improve enemies, gameplay and perhaps work on the plot. The movie was Awesome and games should take serious its plot to continue with the series. You know, now the game has a name, it's not longer a cheap game from a greatests hits collection of Simply 2000. They should think about the game deeper.Comment

I wasn't saying that ports should have more stuff, I was saying that the games weren't ported, they were just translated and released in America, on the same platform.
The Onechan Bara game I saw a few years ago was for the 360, and now, they are releasing it state side, for the 360.
I guess my definition of 'port' is different than yours.Comment

Oh, my bad. I wasn't saying port, I think I misunderstood you. Yeah, I know, well but my point is that Onechanbara 2 was translated into English (very poor done) and they took off stuff from the original title (like intro movie and japanese tracks). Now the 360 version only has a different name from the original.Comment

The Wii version is getting some minor updates.
At last the Onechanbara is coming to North America. To find out about D3’s plans for their zombie slasher series I spoke with Oohashi Toshiro from D3 Japan’s Consumer Business Division. One of the questions I asked him was if there was anything different between the Japanese and North American versions of Onechanbara: Bikini Zombie Slayers (aka Onechanbara R in Japan). Toshiro-san told Siliconera, “the mere thing is that the graphics are now in higher resolution in comparison to the Japanese version so we were able to implement and present something that is more visually appealing.”
Always good to know were getting a more polished product. It’s even better to find out we’re getting a more polished game at a cheaper price. Onechanbara: Bikini Zombie Slayers will be a budget game when it gets released in North America. Stay tuned for the full interview next week.Comment

Game is coming out new for 39.99 I like that they are not charging normal price for it. Makes the decision easier to buy it.Comment

I just ordered Zombie Hunters 1 & 2. They told me the game released only in PAL European, that there was not NTSC region... does anybody know if i'm getting the UK PAL version or what?Comment

I just got OnechanBara for the 360, and it's a great game. So much zombie killing. And Annna (yes 3 n's) shooting so many zombies, so much fun.
It didn't come with a sound track.Comment

Those pictures were made by D3 Publisher for the Playboy magazine. Just because the people from the magazine requested them for their review which is included in the lastest edition.
