While I still think the Twin Peaks lifts are shameless/full, I really enjoyed what I played of this game before my Xbox red ringed. There was just so much to do, it truly was the closest thing to a Peaks adaptation, just the sheer amount of such interaction with the town.

I'll pick this one up day one.

Can somebody please, please help me with this game? I got this game around Christmas, was really getting into it.. it was interesting and different.. then I reach the first encounter with that Axe man guy. No matter what I do, what button or direction I press, I cannot evade and keep getting an axe to the head.

The game isn't clear at all on how to do it and the instruction manual is even worse. Even through google I can't seem to find a clear answer. Is this a quicktime event? A timing thing on axe man's swing? After having to restart the same checkpoint and play the same small section 30-40 times I became furious, put it on the shelf and haven't looked back at it since. Shame, I really wanted to play this one.

I found the no breath thing very useful, especially in later parts where you'd walk into a room to find an enemy right in front of you and completely miss the one to the left or right just out of view, i'd usually hold my breath going into a room, have a quick look, then move to a good spot. Also used it with swarms using the ∞ Wrench, just hold your breath, go right up to them and whack em, one hit usually does the trick. I didn't get the ∞ SMG so couldn't use it, didn't even use the regular one actually, the only weapons i used were the FBI handgun, Sheriff handgun, ∞ Wesley Special (for the Sadako/Samara looking things on the ceiling, found it very effective) and the ∞ Wrench.
