Ah yes. More so annoying with the ∞ SMG. Gre, Gre, yes, Hea, Gre, yes, hea....... Found myself using that in the later parts of the game since it had the same stopping power as the pistol though less damage. Meaning it was awesome for swarms, just go scarface crazy and shoot up the place.

    Spoiler:

Anyone else make effective use of the do not breath? Seen many people claim that it was a pointless addition but I found it rather useful. Great for getaways or doing a few pot shots then cloaking so "them" don't use that annoying teleport thing.

I hope they do, it has real potential to become a strong franchise. If they do though i hope they'll change that little annoying thing where every single time you shoot something York has to say something, it's easy to tune out but it's a bit stupid. Someone made a little comic strip about it

SWERY said he'd like to carry on Agent Yorks investigations,
But more so in a prequel, the other investigations would fit I would presume.

I've never seen TP until yesterday and I see why they retooled it. The original "George" and David looked a little like their TP counterparts.

Still a collectors edition would have been nice. What cup though? An A&G Diner Cup or the Falls cup?

A spiritual sequel could probably be done, I know there is a few things left unanswered about DP.

I'm really interested in seeing the original build, Rainy Woods, with David Young Henning. I just like to see what they changed, other than the protagonist, Dwarves and George.

Rainy Woods looked slightly more TP, especially with the dwarves in the red room, i wonder if that's why they re-hauled it, for fear of people saying they ripped TP off rather than being inspired by it. I too would be interested in seeing this build. Could be something to include in a collectors edition re-release, a nice long making-of covering the development, with a soundtrack CD and maybe an art book, and a coffee cup too of course, yeah that'd be sweet! A guy can dream right?

If there is a sequel, it could probably only be spiritual, which would be fine with me really and could possibly be the start of a franchise ala Silent Hill. A prequel could tie in with the storyline but i don't know how they could make it as exciting.

Got it Xmas day, finished the story today (did very few of the side missions), took me 19 and a half hours on Easy and i wasn't struggling either! That's the size a game SHOULD be! Such a great game, very Twin Peaks which is a very good thing in my book. Kinda bummed that it's over now actually, going to go back through and do the side missions though. For a budget game this is ridiculously good, heck for a full price game it's ridiculously good! FINALLY something original and compelling! Finally something that promised a free-roaming Twin Peaks-esque world and actually delivered (i'm looking at you Alan Wake!)

I pray for a sequel/prequel/anything that will continue this! Like TP though, the want for a continuation might be the best reason not to continue with it? I kind of get the feeling it probably won't happen anyway, kinda like D2 i get the feeling this is such a great game that hardly anyone will play or hear about so there won't be enough interest/money to continue, especially with twats like IGN US scoring it a 2 and GamesRadar calling it the Best Worst Game! I hope i'm wrong though, this is the kinda game the industry needs right now! I think i'll go on a Twin Peaks marathon now

I love some of the frequently used animation loops in the game. Same goes for some of the character texturing and how it looks under some of the game's situations (it doesn't constantly look ugly. It truly does have moments where I think it by far outshines the visual techniques of even the biggest and most major of AAA titles out there.)

Well my brother bought it for me as a christmas present and I'm enjoying it though Spoiler:

To my eyes the textures and animations don't seem to be polished yet I find it enchanting.

Thanks. Amazon attempted serious shipping overcharge, and Play.com needed 3-5 weeks to deliver.

Only £0.99 shipping to Norway! Great site!

Of course, online outlets will almost always be able to 1-up the stores when it comes to prices.

This is a very good game, definitely worth a buy. Even if you're not into the genre, you should at least give it a try.

    So says Mr. Stewart.

Deadly Premonition is even worth £30-40 methinks!
    However, HMV maybe overpriced, but!
They're good prices on CD's too I think,
apart from the overpriced import CD's accumulating over £16-£25 for only 10 songs...
    But that's another subject.
