I suspect that as currently planned Kojima will be annoucing a new game of his own at E3 and a MG title will be teased with someone else in charge and Kojima mearly contributing as co-writer/exec producer... than something will happen down the line, it'll blow out, Kojima will throw his toys and eventually he'll just direct.... like always.

Ture I love the Metal Gear series it was one of the first game's I play it's a big part of my life I just hope the new saga will be just as good or evan better.
