trophy list is disappointing, full game install is...interestingly small.

For Japan and PAL regions so far, US probably not far behind, the MGS4 patch is up with full trophy support (34 including secrets and a platinum) and full install support. Install is 9gb with a 490odd MB patch.

I read on andriasang that a full install option will be available with the new patch.

Hopefully this gets more than just a trophy patch and carries some fixes with it, like installing everything at once as an option so no installs between chapters.

Probably a case of them wanting to re-release Metal Gear Solid 4 (again) and then getting a NO from Sony, 'cause of how the MGO segment of the disc is now taken offline, so they have to update the re-release of the game to not contain any references to MGO ... so while they're at it; "Why not just open that can of worms and get it done and over with?"

Having a think about it, they probably wanted to get people into Metal Gear again, especially one with a cyborg Raiden.

Ah well better late than never I guess, I was planning to do a series playthrough after Resident Evil 6 (gonna play some Resident Evil titles on the run up to that) so this has fallen nicely I guess.
