MGS Peace Walker is set in the past after Portable Op's. Im not sure how many years before MGS1. CR29 should know. I believe he knows more about MGS than I do. Miller is dead in MGS1 which takes place after MGS Peace Walker several years later.

Peace Walker takes place in 1974 -- it says so in the trailer. Watch it. It's awesome.

Playing the demo right now. It's in Japanese, of course, so I have no fucking clue what's going on, but I'm on the rainy beach from the trailers and this guy is barking Japanese at me and explaining the controls. MUCH better than MPO. Face buttons are used to rotate the camera, down on the D-Pad is used to crouch or go prone, L is to aim, R is to fire/attack/CQC...and the game looks fucking beautiful. Really impressive visuals.

EDIT: Camo index is back, left on the d-pad brings up items, right on the d-pad brings up weapons...
