So, I finally got around to seeing Scott Pilgrim VS the World. I'd be lying if I said I didn't think it was incredibly cool. It wasn't the movie to end all movies, but it was damned good and more than enough to get me to pick up the graphic novels. So far, they are delicious too.

There's another Battlestar Galactica spin-off series in production though (set during Bill's year in the army/war, same period you see brief moments of in Razor, iirc.)

Dunno if it'll properly acknowledge Caprica or not, but, yeah, I've still not seen the last couple of eps of Caprica (but did see a youtube upload of the spoilerific "this is what we'd like to do with Season 2" stuff at the end.)

Anyway, it was kinda surprising that they didn't pull the plug on the show earlier, as it clearly reeked of people having no clue where to take things beyond the pilot episode/concept.

(Also, who the heck let V get a second season while FlashForward didn't? At least FlashForward had solid ups and downs, unlike V which has been unfortunately bad all the way...)

Yeah, I read about this. But I believe it will be about Adama's young life in the army. Unless we're talking about different things.

I liked the episodes that were broadcast in the Spring 2010, the show showed a lot of potential at the start. I can't say the same about the later episodes in the Fall, that fucking Clarice woman!

Completely agreed. I guess that is because the original V series was successful.

Last night I watched "The Big Lebowski". Not seen this film in years and it's still a great film to watch.

Hey, I liked The Cape!

It's nice to have an original superhero series as opposed to something we already know. NBC seems to be good for that. I just pray that it doesn't follow the path of Heroes and get the writers swept up in a strike which ultimately leads to the show's downfall...

I saw this movie. His Chinese girlfriend looked like my girlfriend (except of course my GF is hotter), they are also the same age in real life (pretty funny how a 25 year old girl can play a 17 year old, but this just shows how Chinese preserve their young features).

I don't understand why the girls were so obsessed with this Pilgrim, he looks like a frog. At least the actor does. The only reason that actor is famous is because he looks funny and he does comedy.

On another note, I also saw Rescue Dawn for the second time recently. I love every movie that has Christian Bale in it, I really think he should get an Oscar for his physical dedication in every movie. I mean look at this:



He lost almost 30kg for this role...

The Fighter is a new movie with Christian Bale, I will see it soon.
