I dunno about leaving it here. The old gals from the 70's would probably want their beloved icon back. Cuz they sure had a hard time finding one in those days.
Unike in the mid 90's. When men were girly men and women kicked ass.Stuff to remember: Avoid forums if you're having a bad day.

Aside from Erin Grey from Buck Rogers, what other female was kicking ass on TV in the 80's? Marge Simpson?Originally posted by Mr. Spencer View PostI'd say that the 80's was the decade of female empowerment.
On film... I think other than Sigourney, there was... Ah!... what's her name... Jodie Foster?Stuff to remember: Avoid forums if you're having a bad day.

Why are you the way that you are? Every time I try and do something fun, you find a way to make it not...that way.

I hate...so much about the things you choose to be.Last edited by Mr. Spencer; 01-28-2011, 08:01 PM.See you in hell.

I watched Gamer last night mainly because I knew it had Dexter and Sam Witwer in it. Overall, I thought it was a decent hour and thirty minutes of mindless, flashing images.
Though I still was a bit confused as to why anyone would want to be remotely controlled by someone else (I'm referring to the "Society" game in the movie that was similar to the a real-life Sims). I realize you're free of all responsibility and don't have to make any choices for yourself, but still...Who wants to be controlled by some extreme unaesthetically pleasing person...

I am sorry you had to see the terrible, terrible performance by "Dexter" in that film. Even I could pull a southern accent better than Michael C. Hall, he belongs in Dexter and that is it.Originally posted by Xander Ashford View PostI watched Gamer last night mainly because I knew it had Dexter
The only thing I liked about Gamer was the first scene of the film; the battle in the streets. That was pretty awesome.Last edited by Trent; 01-29-2011, 11:53 AM.Freedom of Information.

Ive been really into my horror films recently. So I decided to watch Haloween last night. I enjoyed it to some extent but I found it too dated to really enjoy it. However It did inspire me to go on a horror film rampage so I wernt out and bought a Hitchcock box set with four films including Psycho and the Birds. Cant wait to get stuck into that.

Oh, I agree...His southern accent this time around was very inconsistent. He does it occassionally in Season 4 of Dexter when he's calling into the department trying to disguise who he is, and honestly, it's not half bad. I can still tell he's definitely not southern (even though if I remember right Michael C. Hall is from North Carolina). Overall, it was an okay movie; I didn't really go into it expecting too much...Originally posted by Trent View PostI am sorry you had to see the terrible, terrible performance by "Dexter" in that film. I will probably be watching some Invader Zim in the next few minutes. I have just now discovered this show via the Netflix. I've heard of it for years, but just now started watching it. I LOVE IT! FILTHY HUMANS! I AM NORMAL!
