Alien 3 is pretty good once you get used to it.. plus there are two versions both with a completely different viewing experience. You really should be watching it on Blu-ray though.

After watching Will Smith's 'I Am Legend', I have a hard time going to see a movie with similar CGi creatures... mainly because of how FAKE they look.Originally posted by Inferno04 View PostPriest. It was one of those movies where one actor saved it all.
The ones in Priest looked that way too me even on the trailers.
Give me a man in a suit (like in the first two Alien movies) instead of these fakey cgi monsters.

We're watching Aliens 3 tonight. We got the whole thing on DVD really cheap a while back from where my mum works. Alien, Aliens, Alien 3 and 4, Predator 1 and 2 and the AvP films. Gareth said 3 is his favourite although some don't like it and I fancy some more Alien, so why not. I already know it's a pretty much trollalolol plot.

Wow. I thought everyone had seen that film. O.o
Just remember Alexia, do NOT see Alien 3 or Alien: Ressurection.
Just pretend the series ended at Aliens.

Weakest part of Scott Pilgrim is Michael Cera. He wasn't the right choice for the character.
Scott Pilgrim is a very manic character filled with life and energy.
And Michael Cera...is pretty much the opposite. He did get Scott down somewhat and all, but his lack of energy on the screen really slowed the character and the movie down.
Best parts of the film were with Ellen Wong, Keiran Culkin, and Brandon Routh.

Personally I thought that Insidious was one of the best horror films I had seen in cinemas for years. Thought it was much better than Paranormal Activity. I remember that their were a few jokey moments in the film, especially with the two paranormal geeks but I cant remember if it really bothered me all that much. I really loved the music and sound effects in this film, they had a great classic horror vibe to them.Originally posted by CrimsonOutlaw View PostTwo movies I've seen recently:
- Insidious (It was ok, but there were moments where people in the theater burst out laughing, and I just couldn't. The points that are meant to be funny are quickly shot down by the points that aren't, and vice versa, making it rather confusing. Not sure what to make of it, honestly.)
- Scott Pilgrim vs. The World (I don't know what all the hype about this movie was for because it wasn't nearly as great as everyone and their grandmothers told me it would be. It was ok, but not really worth the nine dollars I spent on it.)
Also I thought Scott Pilgrim vs. The World was amazing.

I thought it was over the top as well. But I guess they had to do that to overcome the first film. Some parts were funny, but the first was definitely better (with it being a new concept and all). Also, I didn't find Galifianakis all that funny this time.Originally posted by Scream View PostHangover 2.. too over the top and ridiculous to be funny..

BEST. SCENE. EVER. Seriously that really was the best part of the whole movie. Hell I flashed back to Defoe in Boondock Saints myself.Originally posted by Tory View PostI seen Priest last week. My, my, what a messy film. And yes, Karl Urban was the saving grace of that film. Paul Bettany should stay away from Scott Stewart's films. I'm interested in the manhwa series of Priest. They say it differs greatly from the movie since it involves demons instead of vampires.
Spoiler:
I loved the scene when, I assume the villian's name was Blackhat, was doing a William Defoe in the streets as the vampires sacked the town
