    • Cheetahs are slow... Atleast compared to my Mustang... With my modifications, mine tops out at 150mph It's not much, but it's pretty good for a 3.8L V6. Hell, I've only been working on cars for about a year now and I can pretty much switch out the engine and take apart and rebuild the transmission...

        • Buying the service and repair manuals help a lot Service manuals are hard to come by (as they aren't sold to the public, but you can still find them on eBay) but they will teach you everything you need to know about your car, although you still need the hands on experience to be confident in what you are doing

Damn. Lol. I had a job for a while at a motorcycle modifications garage, but even before that I knew what to do with it XD

                • hm from what i know about engines, the highest i know of is v8 i guess more cylinders the better?

                  • Well the highest the V shaped piston configs go is about 24. There are other piston configurations out there like Straight, Flat, W, H, U, Square, VR, Opposed, X, Radial, Rotary, Pistonless (Wankel)

Say hello to the Bugatti Veyron :

The Veyron features a W16 engine—16 cylinders in 4 banks of 4 cylinders, or the equivalent of two narrow-angle V8 engines mated in a "W" configuration. Each cylinder has 4 valves, for a total of 64, but the narrow V8 configuration allows two camshafts to drive two banks of cylinders so only 4 camshafts are needed. The engine is fed by four turbochargers, and it displaces 8.0 L (7,993 cc/488 in³) with a square 86 by 86 mm bore and stroke.

                    Max Speed : 253.2 mph

                    • If I could put that sort of engine onto my bike without it exploding I'd do it. I hate driving a car though...

                      • Well, they've put a V8 on a bike before... I'll have to dig it up...
