  • Sympathy For The Devil is an amazing one! I think my favorite Stones track will always be Paint It Black.

On topic, here is a favorite by my all-time favorite songwriter: http://listen.grooveshark.com/#/song/I+Saw+Red/1057104

    Fucking great.

              • ever since i saw Purple Rain again, which has been about...13 years i think, i ended up listening to the songs more. eventually when i vacationed i bought the cd. after i kept listening to it, i realized that i think Purple Rain is a better album than Michael Jackson's Thriller. Thriller is good, but Purple Rain had balls. even Bad had balls, which is why i prefer that album over Thriller as well.

                      Brian Jonestown Massacre- Donovan Said

Have you ever heard of the Brian Jonestown Massacre, Jagger? I think you'l notice something right away with their name, but to cut to the chase, if you like classic rock, there isn't a band who can appropriate it better these days. Their first six albums are like a what's what in terms of 60s sound - One of 'em is psychedelic w/ Eastern influences (the preceding song is from that album), another is this garage blues rock, another is pretty dense folk/country, if you can get past some of the clear lifts of other songs (One of their tunes called "(David Bowie) I Love You Since I Was Six" lifts the chords from "Space Oddity" but I suppose that's the point), they might be one of your favorites.

                              • Nine Inch Nails- Sunspots from the [With_Teeth] album. I love the ending to this song.

Now I just stare into the sun
And I see everything I've done
I think I could have been someone
But I can't stop what has begun
When everything is said and done
And there is no place left to run
I think I used to be someone
Now I just stare into the sun
