Writer’s strike sadly since they rushed the script out of the door, making many mistakes or hiccups on the elements that make a James Bond film. And the film's only good if you combine the film to Casino Royal. I still love the film for how great they did on the opera scene out of the rest, which was truly a memorable scene to go well with James Bond. I don't have a shadow of a doubt this next part will be poor quality.

In fear of sparking a debate, Timothy Dalton was by far the best Bond.

Although Sean Connery started in some of the best bond flicks (Thunderball, From Paris With Love, Goldfinger), I prefer Timothy Dalton's take on the role. Darker, serious, no stupid jokes.

I didn't like License to Kill all that much to be honest, but I really liked The Living Daylights.

As for me, the best Bond has to be Roger Moore. He's slick, suave, and damn can he make a pun.

Quantum of Solace made me realize just how awful the state of action movies looks, with its cuts every -2 or so seconds distracting me from anything relevant. It had the great actors, but MAN was it dumb.

RIP John Barry, a creator of something truly iconic.

He probably heard the theme for Quantum of Solace and decided enough was enough.

It's not clear exactly how much credit he has for the main theme. I was just reading about that the other day, before I heard he died. It even went to court about a decade ago as to who did what with the theme for rights and royalties. Crazy stuff.
