What had happened is that I had played Resident Evil 1,2 and 3 back-to-back, and it took me three to four weeks to get through them all.
Kso. Even when I was a kid it didn't take me that long to beat them. Hell, throw in 4, 5, and the Outbreaks and I'd probably still beat his time. I get the feeling that rather than just playing the games, he spent the larger portion of time looking up JillxZombie porn.

I was a big fan of the zombie movies when they were fashionable in the ‘80s, you know Romero, Lucio Fulci, and such like, and it occurred to me that no-one had made a zombie movie for a long time, like ten years. So it was about time people had zombies rampaging around again.
If we're talking the beginning of the RE movie franchise, which was 2000/2001...Romero released 7 movies between 1990 and 2000. Not all were zombie flicks, but still. I'd wager Lucio Fulci released more than one movie during that time frame as well.

One of the strengths of the Resident Evil franchise is that it doesn't repeat itself too much, each instalment of the game tended to tell a different story and sometimes had a different set of characters.
Well not really. But of course someone who played the games for such a compressed length of time would know that.

I was excited to see the Tomb Raider movie the first time it came out. I saw it, it wasn’t very good, I wasn’t very excited to go and see the second film, I felt that the first Tomb Raider movie promised a lot but didn’t deliver. People didn’t go back for the second one and it did substantially less business, and even though it starred Angelina Jolie there were no more movies. I think with Resident Evil it is very telling that each movie has done better than the one before.
I'd like to see figures on how many people who went to see the RE movies and liked them were fans of the game beforehand. The Tomb Raider movie at least, was far more canon with the videogames than the RE series has been.

    Jesus this guy's a dick.

He said everything like he made a real film and feels himself equal Shinji Mikami for fans of Resident Evil but we know the truth=)
