The fact that a 1.14 WIP build of pSX exists is no secret, the author himself talked about it in different occasions (he even gave me and ChrisRPG the sources to 1.13); same goes for the fact that at least 10 people among PlayStation hackers have a copy. Still, this build was never meant for the general public, as it includes some locked features such as Ps2 emulation. Spreading it like the plague is basically acting like assholes to pSX Author's willing of *not* giving it around until a stable 1.14 build was released - on the other hand, having it with no permission and pretending totally the opposite is just plain dumb, especially when it's crystal clear that you're using it.

Not familiar with the situation here, but are you sure that the pSX author didn't give permission Dark Biohazard to use that emulator in the first place? If that's the case, why not simply contact Dark Biohazard about this matter, explain the importance and solve this problem instead, of you know, alerting other hackers that Dark Biohazard has, potentially, a leaked copy of this emulator?

pSX Author hasn't been around for over 2 years now, but Dark Biohazard's PlayStation videos coincidentally started having no record lag when Colvin started doing funny stuff with the 1.5 build that is now available to all of us. Coincidence? I think not.

Just for your information, I don't make accusations right out of my ass. What I see there is exactly pSX 1.14 internal recording feature, there's no mistake about it.

I was referring to Welsh's temp-ban on PU, the latter of which is completely unrelated to anything to do with 1.5. The temp-ban (one in several throughout the years) was an internal decision and doesn't need to be publicized. Privacy is rather undervalued by some these days.
