As long as they add a Raid mode instead of a crappy timed mode then they can make it as shitty as they want. That's the best I can realistically hope for anyway.

I know many other factors have to be taken into a account but I wonder if Capcom would actually take them into account, considering they already only blamed "The Survival Horror" in the past for RE Remake sales failure and not the GC exclusivity, well...

Bravo Team Resurrection!!!
Wesker's sunglasses turn out to be the source of his power all along.
Sherry was impregnated by William during RE2 but the offspring only emerges from her 17 years later.
Hints of a new a prequel to Resident Evil 0, which sheds new light on the Arkley masion incident in which another scientist was really responsible for the 'accident' in the mountains, but it turns out that it was a different virus to those previously thought to be behind the accidents.
And the secrets behind Leon's hair conditioning regime are finally revealed.Last edited by Jimmy_Jazz; 03-09-2015, 06:24 PM.

Resident Evil 7 will feature Rebecca Chambers as main character. She will probably look just slightly older. It will also have a Umbrella revival named "Kasa".Last edited by Ultimacloud123; 03-09-2015, 05:30 PM.

Doubtful, Capcoms compromise is that Revelations is the survival horror part of the series.
I think we all know what to expect from RE7, a slightly darker action fest than the previous game. Most likely with returning classic characters people don't want to see turned into wanky cliches, even though thats whats going to happen.Last edited by Wrathborne; 03-09-2015, 04:49 PM.

Also, why the lack of RE7 chatter?
When the timeline of a series causes so much friction amongst its hardcore fans then think about how much goes over everyone elses' heads.
This just reinforces, for me, the need for the series to cut out dead way and refocus on a team of characters stuck in a difficult situation together. That's far more engaging that counting the number of T-Virus strains in the world around them.

NB and MR are such opposite personality types that they're never going to see eye to eye when pitted against each other in a debate, but for a community to be successful, any participants involved in such disagreements need to handle the situation respectfully.

It's kind of like someone shouting "5 + 5 = 9!". A simple correction should suffice
There was nothing wrong on what I've said, I've simply said I was disliking the idea of reusing Wesker in a female form. Which is not too hard to understand, TBH. Someone could just take that I was only wishing Alex to be her own character with her own motivations. But no, I had to be an ignorant fool who didn't know about Wesker's Children or anything at all.

Not my problem if people take everything I say and distort it until it becomes an useless argument.

You haven't answered anything, though. You've said "this sucks" and left it at that.

We really need some new moderators.

Trust me when I say that I am absolutely no fan of this supplemental material either, but only for the reason that threads blow up like this when people try push their personal interpretation against actual known fact. I've been guilty of this before, and I have been bested every time News Bot & Co.
It is what it is.

The ultimate goal for Dr. Birkin was to create and breed G-humans, an evolved super-human species, by using the G-Virus. This is the reason this virus would sometimes be referred to as the "God Virus". Unfortunately, the G-Virus never properly stabilized onto Dr. Birkin and the scientist himself was unable to become a G-human.Originally posted by MichelleRockz View PostSpoiler:
Revelations 2 is already a failure to me, the writers are out of originality and decided to repeat the whole "The right to be a God is now mine!" bullshit.
I would have more empathy with the idea if it weren't Alex, but it seems CAPCOM will just throw whatever crap that has the name "Wesker" on the story to keep it going and appeasing the fanboys.
Who knows, maybe RE7 will have Wesker's mom, who came back for revenge.
So you're basing it on English files that are notorious for making up half their content, despite having not actually seen Alex Wesker yet? Are you also aware that "The right to become a god" line doesn't exist in BIO5's Japanese script, meaning it was pulled out of the translator's ass in REV2 just like most of the English dialogue?
