ORC is not canon and Crimson Heads do not evolve into Lickers.

In technicality if there are Lickers there may as well be some Crimson Heads roaming around Raccoon City. As much as ORC was just a action packed mess it did make it a point that the V-Act was present in Raccoon City.We can all agree that zombies > Crimson Heads > Lickers if not exposed properly. Other than the complete graphics overhaul in the REmake/HDmake, Crimson Heads are one of the things that kept me on edge during my first play through. Including them in a RE2make/HD2make would make it pretty intense especially if lets say Martin turns into one.

I vote less enemies but make them tougher like in REmake and less ammo.

Maybe they'll tweak the balance more so RE2 will feel more like remake. RE2 always felt far to action packed to be a true survival horror game. Slow down the pace, make the enemies more deadly, give you less ammo.

Adding an in-between Zombie-Licker phase might do the trick though so we can feel that process more believable and get something similar to a Crimson Head.
I like that idea tbh, burning zombies so they don't become lickers but still having various lickers in the game even if you keep burning.

I'm sure they can implement this idea into RE2make.
I've actually never heard of this! Sounds fucking terrifying tbh! I could see a few crimson heads like the one in the Arrow room becoming a licker.

There's no reason why both crimsons and lickers can't be in the game together, I mean, they both have identical traits it's not like it would be too farfetched to say they come from the same strand of virus....like a zombie could mutate into either or. I know they both come from a different type of t-virus and all but just for the sake of changing things up it wouldn't hurt.

Lickers and Crimson Heads are created with two different strains of t-virus. You can't have both in Raccoon City unless one group ware infected separately and released into the city.

Not to derail the discussion of the labs in RE0 being the same/different from RE2, but I just thought: in REMake, killed zombies became Crimson Heads.
Considering that Lickers evolve from Crimson Heads, maybe in RE2Make they could have Crimson Heads that mutate into Lickers somehow? Or am I missing
something that causes a zombie to go from Crimson Head to Licker?

Considering how many zombies there are in some of the rooms in RE2, imagine having a room that once housed 5 or 6 zombies and having some of them become
Crimson Heads. Then, assuming that said Crimson Heads aren't burned or decapacitated, imagine having rooms full of not just Zombies later in the game, but
    also Lickers!

I'm willing to be very constructive, I am still waiting for some constructive reasons why there has to be two laboratories and am still waiting and some actual evidence to back said argument up other then pulling things out of your arse.

There's also a few other RE2 cameos and similarities! The box puzzle in the water tank for one, the power puzzle for another, the final boss that transforms (tho only once) and I coulda sworn there was another. Lets face it, the developers were clearly fans of RE2 and its shocking they didn't throw in some lickers....

Edit: also the tram ride and the similar magnum. Birkin and Marcus were both shot in their labs.
