Opinions on the state of RE

does anybody know what you get if you get five stars on each stage with each character or something like that.

You get the Handcannon, a really powerful weapon, for use in the main game. If you upgrade it to the maximum, it will have infinite ammo, and can kill any enemy with a single hit.

oh the handcannon, i wasnt sure whether it would be that stun gun type thing you see.
Isnt the handcannon also in umbrella chronicles? i can never remember the weapons in that game

Yeah, the Handcannon is one of the weapons in Umbrella Chornicles. I think you find it during Hunk's mission but I could be wrong there.

Nope you are correct. It is in one of the rooms in the RPD main hall. Hunk will look at the door leading to the rectionist area (on the left with the item box during RE2). You have to shoot the door enough times for it to open, otherwise Hunk will pass it by.

Speaking of Hunk...I would have liked to see him have a boss. I know he had a hell of a lot of enemies to waste and very little ammo during his mission, but it would have been interesting to see what he would have got. I don't think that there were too many boss enemies left to use...but Mr. X would have been a good bet.

Uh...I don't think Hunk was in re3.... He was in 2.

crap but .. grr what about the mercenaries? and hunk wasnt in RE4 but he was in the mercenaries

The mercs are the UBCS members you meet in the game: Mikhail, Nicholai, and Carlos. It would have been nice to see them use a few of the others but oh well.

Got get Hunk's mission in RE2, get an A rank or better on an A mission, and then get an A rank or higher on the subsequent B mission (use the same save file).

To get Tofu's mission, do that 3 times (so 6 missions in total).

To unlock the Mercenaries in RE3, just beat the main game. In some versions (Dreamcast, and Gamecube too I believe) it's available out of the box.

In the merceneries game who is the guy in the chair when you reach the end of the level?

RE3 mercs obviously isn't canon, so it doesn't matter who it is. It's not a character from the games. Even if it's an umbrella employee, because it's no canon there is no point trying to figure out who it is, because it's impossible. The character model is Brian Irons from RE2.

No its not Irons at the end. They where just lazy and used his character model. If it was to be anyone I guess it Spencer since we never see his face. Since its not part of the story, i guess it doesn't matter.
