No, Sherry got grabbed soon after leaving Raccoon City. It looks as though Wesker got her, but the line that suggests it got dropped, so...however, it's pretty clear there was never a chance for Chris to meet her.

I, too, am suspicious of the scene in the second TGS trailer where the capsule opens and Chris looks mighty shocked... However, for all we know, it may just be a random monster you have to fight. But, I doubt that--too much emphasis is placed on that scene.

My guess for who "Birdwoman" is changes CONSTANTLY, so I've pretty much given up on trying to come to logical conclusions. At the moment, however, my guesses are "Birdwoman" being Jill and Tube Girl/Girl in Red being Sherry. I'm thinking that sometime (early on) in the game, Sherry winds up released from her capsule majig and is confused and disoriented, and because Capcom suddenly decided they want to borrow from the RE movies, she puts on a random red dress she finds. <<< I believe someone here mentioned this theory, too, but I can't remember whom.

This doesn't really explain why Tube Girl's leather attire looks so similar to whatever "Birdwoman" is wearing underneath her cloak, but whatever. My head hurts thinking about these theories.

That birdlady is not Jill. Since we haven't seen anything new about "Sherry" I think that the tube girl and birdlady are the same person, I bet is the blonde girl we've been talking about these days.

My guess now is that Tubegirl and birdlady are the same person and thats Jill, Sherry is just Sherry she has never been in the tube I dont see why she would be. If im right then Jill would be evil and Sherry will have a really small lame Ashley role, her lines will be "Chris Helllllppp"

Why would Sherry be in the tube? The after effects of being implanted by Birkin, maybe. They cleared out the parasite, in theory, but if there was anything left, and it was allowed to develope over time, maybe it could turn you into an ass kicking ninja in a funny mask.

She could be in a tube because weker maybe injected her with the T-Veronica virus, so all this years she has been "sleaping"

If the mystery woman is in fact Jill, I dont think she should be considered "evil", more like brain washed. But I dont see any reason why it cant be Sherry. The tube girl did have blonde hair. I believe the mystery woman and tubegirl are completely different people. For all we know Jill might be alive and normal and appears at the end of the game, being neither the masked person or tubegirl. As for Sherry, I hope they dont make her another damsel in distress like Ashley, she's 22 for crying out loud anyways so that shouldnt happen. She's more than capable of performing matrix backflips like all the other woman in the series. We also have to keep in mind the masked woman isnt just wearing a mask for the ball, she's hiding her face for a reason, and since she's appears to be more associated with Excella, she could also be hiding herself from Wesker too.

Because I doubt anyone has seen Sherry for a long time and she has grown up so why and who would she be hiding from. Although this masked woman may be all messed up in the face but I doubt it since her chin looks pretty normal.

Also wasnt Sherry infected with the virus in Resi2 so I figured surley she wouldnt have been in a tube for all this time? Although in the trailer she did seem abit messed up I guess you would be if you spent most of your life in a tube though. When Birkin infected Sherry with his embryo, she became a host for the G-Virus. But, after Claire used the DEVIL synthesis in her body to clear out the embryo, Sherry was cured, but she became a dormant host for the G-Virus. Thus, she can never be infected with the G-Virus again, because she has a resistance to it. I don't doubt Wesker could have used this to his advantage over the years while Sherry was with him. I mean, she may be resistant to the G-Virus, but there's plenty of other viruses out there she could've became an experiment to.

Gosh, I hope so, too. I'm crossing my fingers Sherry will have grown up to be bitter, angry and out for revenge. After being so neglected her whole life, it seems like the most plausible route to take with her character.

My thoughts exactly. It wouldn't be so surprising if she had some sort of grudge against Claire for leaving her behind. And since Chris is her brother its the closest thing she can get for revenge. I also hope that if Sherry does appear in RE5, she will have some sort of powers like Wesker. It would seem a little pointless for her to appear again after 10 years completely normal without any kind of tests done to her. I mean, this is Wesker we're talking about, he didnt just give her money every weekend to go to the mall.

Precisely! Especially since it was because of Chris that Claire left in the first place. I wouldn't blame Sherry at all if she wanted to kick Chris' ass. Honestly, after everything Sherry went through at such a young age, the possibility she'd grow up to be mentally healthy is pretty unrealistic, and I just pray Capcom sees the potential she has a character going from good to bad.

I don't mind if Masked Woman is Jill, so long as Sherry isn't snubbed in her storyline. I think it'd be completely ridiculous if Sherry wound up being the damsel in distress that Chris had to save while Jill ran around playing the brainwashed villain. But, like I said earlier, I'm convinced Tube Girl is Sherry, which opens the possibility of her playing the villain card.

To be honest, I really hope tube girl is Sherry... but since we saw that stone with the name of Jill on it, our speculations went into another direction.
