The ending of RE 1 is just perfect, very powerful and very emotional.

Îndeed, the radio announcer was great. I don't know i really like all that "surviving" theme for the game, it's like you have to escape safe and sound. And you have to deal with a beast that chases you all the time, a traitor, Nicholai. I don't know.. it might not have a great plot, but remember that has the birth of the game Mercenaries, epilogues and the most important thing... replay value.

Well, they might've been recorded from their core PC that they used to make the game. Either way, they weren't realtime. That's why you don't see the bonus costumes in the cutscenes.

RE4 PS2 ver lacks of graphics, cutscenes, amount of enemies in screen. I think GC version is the best out there.

The Wii version is probably the best for having the Ada scenario, and still real-time cinematics... But that's like saying, the best type of toilet paper is triple quilted. At the end of the day, it still belongs in the toilet.

Haha nice comparison there! I almost forgot about Wii version... I don't like Wii system that much... maybe that's why I forgot RE4 Wii port. RE4 good or not, PS2 version isn't the half of the real game.

GC version isn't the best out there. It's definately the Wii. All the extra content from the PS2 port, plus everything from the GC port, and better gameplay. It made the game a lot more enjoyable for me.

I wouldn't agree that RE4 belongs in the toilet, at all. I really enjoy the game and I enjoyed it even more on professional mode, I just hate it as an RE game because it ruined the franchise and was piss poor. But as a standalone game, which I regard it, it's very fun.

The RE4 credits show scenes from the lifes of the ganados as they live there lives, and then Saddler arrives and gives them his 'power' and all the bad crap that comes from it. It's actually very well done, and quite disturbing to think about.

Yeah... Partner characters freak me out, but mind you, she might not be as useless as Ashley. Of course, with Ashley, you could usually tuck her away somewhere safe until you had to get moving.
