They probably landed in a perfect swan dive position or wesker blocked most of the fall with his invincibility. He was in the front afterall.

I'm sure that's how Capcom would have brushed it away, but the fact of the matter is Jill's body would have been crashing into a solid body with a great amount of force. But then again...Capcom really fails when it comes to bringing people back to life and explaining it away. Just take Ada Ayanami for example...she either falls to her death or is practically crushed by Mr. X, and yet she manages to bandage herself, get a rocket launcher to Leon/Claire, escape a monster filled lab before it explodes, and then escape a monster filled city, all the while doing some fantasic acrobatics for a person that was on death's door a few moments earlier, and ALSO not have any trouble escaping a nuked city...on the cargo of a helicopter....and at no point do her injuries bother her at all.

The way I see it: Wesker survives the fall but Jill is knocked uncouncious and near death. Wesker, seeing ~evil plan potential~ in her dying body, saves her and heals her, whilst doing his ~evil things~.

Even better! Chris was on LSD and only imagined Jill and Wesker going out the window. Meanwhile, Wesker captivates Jill with hooker boots and a shiny gold watch, and they simply walk out the front door!

Okay, back ON TOPIC..

The only reason Jill survived that fall is because she fell with Wesker. There's no physical way she could have survived otherwise. Wesker can survive falls from great heights, as evidenced in RE5 where he survives a fall from a plane, and he jumps extremely high in CV (over walls et cetera) and lands perfectly fine. The most logical explanation would be that he caught her and saved her life. It's obvious Wesker could survive falls that other humans would be crushed from.

but i still hold the "jill was on top of wesker" thing, remember the end of Bourne Identity ? It worked there .. (granted the fall wasn't as high, but it was on solid ground, and it kind of worked).

It could have worked. We don't really know how high it was, just that it was off a cliff. That chinese girl jumped onto her boyfriend and he died, and she was injured but lived because she was on top of him. Not to mention the fact that Wesker has super powers and could have survived her crushing him when they landed. It's not that hard to imagine.

This. Chris saw Wesker and Jill hit the water. If Wesker had done something to break the fall, Chris would have seen it. Even if Wesker had done something to prevent the full brunt of the fall, it still would have killed Jill. Learn some physics people...bodies in motion, etc. But again....logic is lost in most aspects of the game, so in the end it turns into yet another argument of opinions.

I always imagined them falling into an ocean for some reason. Chris does say her body was never found and they had a burial for her. If there had landed on the ground there would be evidence somewhere of them landing, and then the BSAA would have become suspicious much earlier.

If they had landed in the ocean there's a much higher chance that if they didn't find their bodies, they would figure they were dragged away with the current, or sank, and then just deemed both Wesker and Jill dead.

Though Chris should have known better, seeing as how Wesker has Super human powers.
