my opinion on the game as a whole and the ending:

i really liked this game more than RE4 mostly because it features Jill , but it was still a pain in the ass to go through the game , i wasn't having fun when facing normal enemies , it was just a waste of ammo and time , i really wish that Capcom would use RE4 beta gameplay in RE6, or modify the original to be lighter, the gameplay just doesn't work out for a survival horror game series such as RE, now on the ending i really won't believe that wesker really died , even if he drowned in a volcano and got shot by two rockets he will still survive , and the virus is still in africa , they just stopped it from spreading through the world , and im very glade how everything worked out, everyone thought that birdwoman and tube girl were two different persons but they aren't , im still unlocking costumes and etc for characters , crossing fingers for a Jill skin for sheva .

I just want to say that the files in this game are the best, ever. Lengthy, detailed, and like the first four games (1, 2, 3, C:V), they actually add a lot to the story.

Also, the figurines are really cool. I like how you can rotate them and zoom in to see the detail.

How often do you find files? Are there alot of them around? Or are the ones you find just really lengthy? Also do you actually find them or are they unlocked and viewable in the menu screen? I know that theres one regarding Jill and the blonde hair you can see on the computer screen after the U8 fight...but the others I am not clear on yet. I cannot wait for this game, even though I watched most of it...I am still more psyched for this than any other game .

Thnaks, that cheers me up alot. I didnt watch it all mind you, but i just happened to see a few very key cutscenes and battles, and a friend spoiled the ending so i ended up watching that, and i was so mad at myself thinking i had ruined the whole plot, gosh i am impatient. This cheers me up alot, even though i only watched a few areas shown, im glad to know theres alot of depth to teh story and game.

As well, its living the game that makes it real, it isnt know until you youre self see it

Apparently, Spencer was the one who get William Birkin to give Wesker the virus which Wesker used at the mansion incident. There is a big secret behind the reason.

Wow, thanks so much Xfactor and A-J, you are the reason i am yet again looking forward to uncovering some of the mystery of Resident Evil 5. After i watched the ending, and a few of the plot filled cutscenes, i felt so bad, i thought to myself " well, i just ruiend any surprises Re 5 had."

So now, i really cant wait to play the game again, and search every nook for these lengthy files. The best story in Resident Evil? Wow, that is incredible, especially after the lack luster files n Re4, i am very excited to see these. So these files are more than just going over what was said in the cutscenes right?

Just a note on wesker, so i can understand what the files go over, spoiler if you havent beat the game regarding wesker Spoiler:

The two real big cutscenes i watched, the ones i felt bad about for spoiling, where were wesker is not human, and is a project where there were wesker children or soemthing? the other was the ending, where wesker is killed of course. Knowing that i saw these two cutscenes, would you say these files, do they go over stuff that I still have no idea about? If they do, im so very happy, as i havent really seen much, i saw when jill was unmasked, but i knew that anyways, but as long as these files are a huge part of the unseen story i am very thankful

They're B.S.A.A. emblems. They're just in the game because you unlock bonuses by collecting a certain number and earn a trophy/achievement for shooting them all.

I've no idea how many files are inside the game itself, but I've came across like at least 10 files. I've missed out some due to the ganados that were chasing me around like crazy. Did I mention that there are frequent mentions of James Marcus too?
