Looks legit to me. The character model, texture, animation and scene timing matches up with the ones from 1.5 far too perfectly for this to be a recreation. Also the aspect ratio is exactly the same as the footage from the complete disk video. Play them side-by-side and they're exactly the same, down to the timing, save for the more detailed character model used in the final build/complete disk version. Not to mention the fact that KeijiDragon himself states, in one of the comments, that he has exclusive 1.5 material.

I suspect that it's from video the Curator took from the copy he had access to - stuff that was edited out and the like. He almost certainly had more stuff than we got to show - if I recall he said he played for a couple of hours after all.

I suspect that the sound doesn't match because the sound in the Curator's version wasn't done - no voice acting and the like. You can see in several videos there are not step sounds, but there are sounds for the enemies and guns and such.

I don't see a reason to think it's fake though.

Shotgun animations are of 1.5 (gun sideways, RE1 similar style to RE2's, sequence of shutting shutter (pretty sure was not in RE2)

But this would imply that some people (OKeiDragon, at the very least) actually got to see video material from the curator which he never showed to the general public. The very possibility that this might be true is tempting, to say the least.

I never even thought about the possibility that the curator might have shared some stuff with certain people only, without it being known to the rest of us. Now I actually am excited for 1.5 all over again, haha!

I hope this mystery will be solved soon, now I'm certainly looking forward to an official statement from OKeiDragon regarding the footage he teased us with!

Say, has anybody compared this to the curator's teaser footage (the one with the monkey enemy scene in the RPD basement and RE4 & CV HD advertisement) yet? Does the resolution of the 3d models look comparable, could OKeiDragon's video be from the same source footage?

Straight away I noticed the missing black borders that indicate it's not a PSX original.

It's a PC version mod.

If its a mod it really looks good almost identical to 1.5. I have seen many mods which trying to recreate 1.5 by using BH 2 engine. This mod does not look like BH 1 or BH 2 but looks like BH 1.5. All I can say is that video looks awesome.
