In Paul's movieverse the T-virus evolved so the zombies now carry on the traits of majini which is what he calls them in the fangoria interviews.

A director explaining this outside of the movie does not answer or excuse the shit scripting in the films. Additionally now given the link you provided characters are now injecting parasites into themselves. Which doesnt exactly mesh with the above statement he was saying. Unless of course they are now going to be two different things in his universe. We will see.

It's sad I have such a love hate relationship with the films. I just think they're do trashy but it's more entertaining to see what sort of shit story and poor filmmaking he pulls out his ass each time. I'm happy to admit that I derive some entertainment from the films, just not the intended part so much.

Really now, all the people that were ever killed in the previous movies are back as a fucking clones, or some other crap. The Idea of a romance between Alice and Carlos is a load of shit, actors that are playing Leon, Ada (fat legs) and Barry are freaking horibble, the shitface Wesker from a previous movie is back, Jill looks like she's a cosplayer in cheap suit. All this main idea of Alice being mindfucked to "perfect the virus" smells as good as a dead roten skunk in an agust noon. And, oh my god, the way they showed Moscow, like it's a fucking soviets again, that is just insulting.

Not all directors explain every detail in their own films. Not trying to justify the movies, but given how Nemesis, the tyrant and Alice (as well as her clones) were "made" from the last three movies I can easily write off Anderson combining the parasites as something that came from the virus. His "majini" are just zombies with plagas qualities. I prefer to call them gopher zombies myself given how they tunnel their way below ground.

Injecting parasites in the clones though is a new thing. I don't know what will happen.
