If you remember, there's one fixed camera angle in Resident Evil 5 as you fight Wesker as Shiva in the volcano . It's nice for the Director to take the nostalgia aspect with the fixed perspective in the Mansion scenario. It looks like the chapter is heavily focused on exploring and puzzle solving, with the the taste of a giant enemy hunting you down with "zombies" in the way to probably slow you and your partner so you can be attacked by the thing. This is definitley the biggest interest for me, especially if we get any more information on Umbrella/Spencer, compared to the more action focused scenario with Jill and Josh. Bring on the content!

I only watched it the once, last night. Not going to keep overplaying it because that totally ruined the main RE5 experience for me.

But is Chris filling in the blanks for Sheva about the STARS and the mansion in the marshlands?

Would massively contradict the moment on the big ass boat where Sheva is asking Chris about the history between himself and Wesker wouldn't it?

Thank you Stu. Time to see this on my TV, on top of our television-stand glory!

Not necessarily. In fact, I find this statement to be grossly misleading. Men and women can have platonic relationships with absolutely no feelings deeper than friendship. Yes, you can love them, but love is not always sexual and, often times, the depth and sincerity of the love that exists between friends makes romance irrelevant.

Also, by insinuating a female/male interaction is "different" to any other relationship and that there is "always" sexual tension, you're making an ignorant claim that chemistry--whether it be romantic, sexual or strictly platonic--exclusively exists between men and women, which is completely nonsensical.

I see what you mean. I think it really depends on your definition of friendship.
If you're talking about "I see a girl I like to talk with, we sometimes see each other at a party and have fun, but that's it" Then, yeah, you're right, there will be no romance at all. But I don't call this real friendship. Real friendship for me is someone you would almost die for and you can really trust. If I ever get this feeling for a woman, it would be love, not friendship. That's why I think it's completely impossible that Chris and Jill didn't have 'more' than friendship after all the shit they've been through. And we're talking about a ten year partnership, here.
OK, nevermind, that's not the subject afterall and I get to notice that my vision of things seem too strange sometimes

Update patch is only 168mb? That still seems incredibly small for even ONE let alone TWO new chapters and whatever else there is.

I doubt that's for chapters, those are probably only character models for Mercs Reunion, so someone who haven't bought, for example, Folklore Sheva costume, could play Mercenaries with someone who uses her in co-op game.

Capcom did the same thing with Street Fighter 4. All alt-costumes were on the disc so people could see them in online game even without buying DLC (which only unlocks said costumes).

You claim “real friendship” is with “someone you would almost die for and you can really trust.” I agree, and I’m sure most others would, too. But, you go on and say that feeling such a way would actually be “love,” which, in turn, means friendship does not exist at all. Only love, which—according to you—means romance. And, again, you’ve resorted to being gender bias, which further makes your previous statement of male/female friendships “always” having sexual tension even more unfathomable.

You’re free to think whatever you want about the two’s relationship. I'm not going to argue with that. What bothered me about your previous post had more to with your generalized statement about all male/female relationships rather than anything to do with Chris and Jill as characters.

I, too, would use plenty and all anecdotal evidence that pertains to my life if I felt it’d be useful but, okay, fair enough: It’s your opinion/mindset.
