Did I say placeholders? No.
The models can be improved as the game gets closer to release like RE5 and honestly that model looks exactly like Jill. The only difference is that she's not in HD, she lost her cap and she's hiding the scar.
Unless you're expecting PS3 graphics on the 3DS I don't see how Jill looks completely different... especially when she's wearing the same damn outfit.

Chris looks near identical to his RE5 model, no question. Jill couldn't be much further from it.

This. You have to be crazy to think that she's Sheva or (as I've seen around) Manuela.
It's SD RE5 Jill. Her model may change a bit but it's really not that different.
Most likely they made those models just to show the game and they'll eventually fix them, Chris doesn't really look that good either if you look closely.

I thought the same. Her face is absolutely different from the RE5 model. It looks nothing like Jill like Stu said above. She looks older than RE5, we don't know if she might be a clone or if this episode is before or after RE5... let's wait and see.

Call me nuts, but Jill looks older to me, besides Chris apparently looks exactly as he looks in RE5.

However, saying that's Sheva remember me when Manuela image came up, and a lot of people think that her was a young Sheva.
Very unlikely, since it's clearly Jill in the screens...

Would you think it acceptable then to have what looks instantly recongisable as Chris' RE5 model, but absolutely NOTHING like Jill's then?

It will be Jill. But it's hardly beyond belief that people might speculate.

I haven't read through the entirety of either of the Revelations threads, so I'm sure someone has already suggested this, but does anyone else think the woman in the screenshots may actually be Sheva, and not Jill?

I know she's wearing Jill's BSAA uniform, but it's entirely possible that's just the standard uniform for female agents. Chris' old uniform is essentially the standard BSAA uniform with a few personal touches, after all.
