Why does it have to be a Chris clone? Could it not just be a completely new guy with similar hair?

Didn't they already say that Jill and Chris are pointing at each other because Jill was already in the room and Chris just walked in? She had one gun on the prisoner, hears movement behind her, raises other gun. Surely just one of those 'woah, easy there partner,' moments. Lower the weapon. End of drama.

But Chris rises his gun too. In such situation, I guess this wouldn't happen.

To be honest, it's possible that this game is on both the 3DS and PSP.
They both have similar graphics (atleast from pre-release screenshots of games for the 3DS.)
I wouldn't totally count that out, though I would've expected them to announce it as multi-plat, just a thought.

You are so behind! (Anyway, don't worry. It's not like they just crammed in a new Wesker in LIN. They just have file(s) there that speaks of the other Wesker children)

Clone/ Look-Alike is pretty stupid if you ask me. I'm assuming this is the PSP game they were talking about? Has there been any talk of that yet from the press to Capcom?

I think clones would be an interesting approach. These assholes (aka. protagonists) have been eating every single BOW alive, regardless of how special they've been, so why not make (controllable?) BOWs based on them instead

As for the PSP game... beats me. I said it before and I'll say it again; Sony were grasping at straws when they were announcing PSPGo! titles, so it might just be the same.

No it hasn't, a brief mention on Segei being cloned is not the same as two full games based around a shapeshifter.

Could be a shapeshifting Tyrant. Could be a Chris clone. Could be a ressurrected Wesker who just happens to have developed a new trick.

I would prefer it to be the shape shifting B.O.W. from gaiden but I don't think it will be.

What if they Ret-Con it so some if not all of Alpha and Bravo team were Wesker Children. Gah.

No, the RE PSP game never happened. Looks like, at a best guess, it got shifted over to the 3DS as soon as someone in Capcom's finances department did a few sums about which of the handheld consoles prints money.

Is it possible for you guys to consider that they just wanted to slightly change Jill's
model?

I mean it's possible they didn't like Jill's current face structure and slightly alter it, while
they kept Chris' the same from RE5 because they had nothing to complain about it.

Jill's face is very reminiscent to Remake's but Chris not so much, they might have thought
to give Jill a small make-over to show some change through the ages and appeals much
more to the Current Chris...change-wise to say the least.

Think about it...I mean why would they put a character that looks so much like Jill in
terms of clothing/get-up/body structure and looks nothing like Sheva?

...or it might be a new character.
