I remember that the voice actress who did her voice was hoping Ashley would come back in a future game. So she could be her as someone more capable of taking charge of herself and stuff.

I guess she got her wish... if its true that the BALLISTICS has returned.

Revelations is definitely looking to be the set up for RE6, what with Terragrigia giving the global public a fine taste of BOWs.

STARS_Tyrant, I agree. The gameplay footage looks a little bit too kinetic for my tastes, I seem to recall that Masachika Kawata said he admires how much better Dead Space is at doing survival horror than the recent RE games. Like I said before though, I'm crossing my fingers firmly for a split in gameplay styles so everyone can be happy.

I'll give them this one as a free pass....

The first three numbered games represented a trilogy for that era, of classic static camera and similar gameplay.

4,5 and now 6 are a new trilogy featuring the over the shoulder cam.

I now look toward Resident Evil 7 as the vital overhaul the gameplay clearly needs.

I'm not so sure that's Ashley....just like with RE5 people, not every blonde is Sherry; not every blonde with a high voice will be Ashley. Besides the hair coloring is a bit off for Ashley...and really..I can't see her becoming an agent of any kind. It does look like the game will include some co-op elements...or at the very least escorting. Leon, Chris, and mystery man all have a second person with them, and I'm fairly certain at one point in the trailer towards the end its from one of the ladies' views as they get attacked.

Three new sidekicks plus a new main character, and let's not forget Ada will show up eventually. Also this is nothing new. Chris and Jill have new partners in Revelations, plus even more main playable characters in those other two guys whose names escape me.

Damn, you're SO right. My bad. Might be my lack of playing Outbreak (despite owning the games, but not having a PS2). I'll fix my original post.

I really hope Alex Wesker is a female and it's the "bitch" who Chris is chasing. And baldy turns out to be some kind of merc turned hero. We need more "antiheroes" on RE, almost everyone are goody-two shoes characters.
