Collector was a rewatch, not a bad movie IMO.. love the bit when the couple come home and he's just watching them before f***ing them up, hopefully the sequel comes out soon!
What were your thoughts on Bruiser? I thought it was a really different take on a revenge tale. As Romero get's older his work seems to feel more...out of place. Honestly, I think he peaked with Day of the Dead.

I just watched Sucker Punch. It was alright to say the least. Given the pedigree, I was expecting much worse. Snyder films for the most part always leave me feeling cold.

Also recently watched Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows pt. 2. Now my "childhood" is finished. But what bugs me is my two idiot brothers who can't shut up about it, and not to mention they now call me a "muggle" like the kraz fan they are and also try to cast curse at me. But of course they know that they are just making fun of it ( or at least I thought :p).

The Fly and Fly II are both great films.. the way Brundle just "withers" away in the first is quite disturbing, though the musical score gets a little whiny at times.. Looking forward to yet another remake of it in the near future (if they're still going ahead with it), hopefully they won't use too much CG..

    It's GREAT!
I liked the movie, but at the same time had a lot of questions with it...Meh.

    Insidious

I have mixed feelings about this movie; I did like it because I seem to be quite fond of demonic possession, evil type movies...But the ending to this just wasn't what I wanted at all. If you liked Paranormal Activity and would like to see an actual movie version of it without all the annoying camera bobbing and light effects, then this would probably be a movie for you. It has the same general story idea, but isn't overly stupid (It does have its moments though).

I would probably give it about a 7 out of 10.

The Tiptoe Through the Tulips song freaks me out now...I do NOT want to hear that again. Horrible song!

Now I know that sequels generally aren't the best but I recently rewatched The Fly II, something which while overshadowed by the greatness of the original is still a fun flick in its own right. It pretty much turns the body horror factor up to eleven and pushes it even further than that.

If you haven't seen it allow me to present to you some of the film's finer moments. First of all we have a rather heartbreaking scene between the main character and his pet golden retriever, which goes through a rather interesting transformation when the film's antagonist puts it through the acclaimed teleporter technology.

And then later on in the last half hour or so of the film you have a trifecta of fuckuppery featuring an elevator head crush, acid face melt and the sausagification of the main antagonist.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K11Zm...eature=related - And here's the highlight of the film.

I was going into this thread just to post it, you beat me, sir. Yeah, it looks like they're actually doing this the right way.

That doctor who shows Kate around, it'll probably be sad to see him go, as he's definitely not one of the helicopter men in the beginning of Carpenter's movie.
