I'm not sure. Regardless, I loved CoD4, and I'm pumped for some more modern guns and settings.

well i still like WW2 games, im happy we have both modern warfare and WW2 still.

we can have future games soon, but im not gonna die if i don't get them now, same as a Vietnam COD, but i also want a Vietnam COD more than a future COD.

you don't need something completely new in every new game, if they went righ tto vietnam now id actualy be a little disapointed, i want more modern warfare first before we go to vietnam, in fact when COD4 was announce i was a little disappoited ther would be no more COD in WW2, but then treyarch to it back which was good.

id love COD in vietnam but wait until COD8 or something to do that, there is still plenty more thing to do in modern warefare.

What kind of a llama would pay for the same game every year when the previous game isnt even outdated yet?

Theres just way too much potential in COD4 to justify asking another 50 bucks for what is essentially an expansion pack. Or do you honestly believe that theres going to be a new engine? LOL...

The community was already ready for a near future shooter (M8 and other XM models, electronic warfare, LandWarrior system). Its not about pulse rifles and coil guns. Its about battlefield awareness, new modular weapons systems and caseless ammunition. You know, the sh!t thats already stockpiled, but is in testing right now.

Pretty much everyone who has tried to go for the future setting, has failed myserably, unless its a science fiction game with complete artistic freedom. IW could do something good with this, virtually untainted bucket of concepts.

But no. Instead we get another dozen WW2 titles...
