Im surprised I haven't fought a Sentinel yet he was a popular pick in MvC2 and was frustrating to fight
-
I read online that a new verb hath been created in response to the immediate discovery of the effectiveness of the spamming of Sentinel's "NEUTRALIZE!" beam attack(if you play against people online, you've undoubtedly encountered this). This 'tactic' will be referred to from here on out as "butterdicking" or being "butterdicked."
Spoiler:
Sentinel spam y'all!

Anyone who didn't think most of the 'DLC' data wasn't going to be on the disc was fooling themselves. (though the guy seems to think they are unfinished)
Why does anyone care anyway if it is on disc or not, you're either going to pay for it or you aren't. Same result either way.
Being on disc is nothing but a benefit, less HD memory space used (great for 360 arcade users) plus on PS3 you will not get an ecuse for the crap that was pulled with the 3rd set of SSFIV costumes where your opponents only see them if you buy them.
Complaining DLC so soon after release that could have been part of the game normally I'd understand complaints about, but because it is on disc or not? Silly.

I know this is Viewtiful Joe's assist type, but somehow, "Shocking Pink" sounds quite appropriate for Jill...

I like this, I feel like we're exposing all of Capcom's dirty little secrets. =DLast edited by Mr. Spencer; 02-17-2011, 03:50 PM.

So, it should come as no surprise that Jill (and Shuma) are on the MvC3 disc...and another non-surprise is that someone has hacked into the disc files to access the content.

Here is an index of the picture files of Jill (+ a few explain some of her moves):

Considering that you can spin the character models around 360 degrees, I wonder if Jill's battlesuit will still feature its interesting "ventilation" component?Last edited by Jill's Boob; 02-17-2011, 01:58 PM.

I remember hearing about Capcom considering Fou Lu from Breath of Fire IV as a character. Hopefully they can rekindle that effort and make him from scratch. I wonder if the DLC won't be just those names people found hidden on the disc.

Frank West and Doc Ock? Mmm. Sounds like a sexy combination to me. I do hope there's some more X-Men coming down the line(Cyclops, Emma Frost), but there are certainly other characters(specifically speaking on the Marvel side of things) they could do that haven't been done before. Guess well just have to wait to find out.
On a side note, Capcom' can forget me paying 5 bucks for rather lackluster alternate costumes, but I suppose I'll most likely be purchasing Jill as my first DLC character. Hopefully, the DLC's will be characters people actually want to pay for, otherwise, I certainly won't be attributing to the further milking of this title. When it comes to Capcom, they aren't just pros at milking--they invented the damn textbook.Last edited by valentinesdead?; 02-17-2011, 02:22 AM.

So, I decided to feed the pig after all. Must say I am impressed even though I only played one match(I Suppose grenade spamming with Deadpool is gonna be popular--though I'm sure it could have been simple as pie to counter). Mostly have been training mode trying to get the moves and inputs down. Graphics are really sexy, more than I originally thought. Looking forward to getting better, and some actual competition.
I fancy using Jean Grey as my main(her moveset reminds me of Cammy for some reason--Simplicity with subtle complexity, preharps?) with Wesker and Dante are her stooges. Not sure if I'll keep Wesker, but I really, really love Dante. Extremely versitle and flashy moveset, but he's certainly for more advanced players. He might even have a few too many moves, but that just means all the more options to dish out punishment. Needless to say, interested in some matches if anyone's up for some. Ps3, of course.
Overall, I'm really liking this game. Now only to decide if I want to invest in an actual arcade stick. . .Last edited by valentinesdead?; 02-17-2011, 01:08 AM.

Hulk's ending was pretty funny.
Spoiler:
The "Puny Zombie" part gave me the lulz

I've gotten almost half of the endings in the game, and every single one of them was hilariously bad. Chris's ending especially made me LOL. So far, though, Deadpool's is my favorite because it was genuinely funny and appropriately random.
