Going by the new challenge room designs and how the world map look like what I seem to recall being drawn on a whiteboard in some of the old photos from the GRIN office... I'd say there's a possibility that content-wise, BC:R2 will be richer than its prequel.
And, true, games drop in prices, but so far this generation, I think I've found most bang for the buck from stuff I've picked up on XBLA (though, there have been a few exceptions here and there where I felt that a retail release was worth every single coin poured into it and more)

I'm expecting similar amount content to BCR1, I'll burn through it too fast. Retail games here drop silly low prices so for a tenner I could buy a new copy of God of War III or Final Fantasy XIII or something like that, it skews the opinion on PSN/XBLA games value.Last edited by Dracarys; 01-07-2011, 05:22 AM.

Music!
Spoiler:
They never stated who William was in relation to Jayne. Given the lack of any actual mention of any proper background details, it might as well be a blood relative. Especially considering how they William's a Magdalene too and everyone calls Jayne for "Mag." Making it likely Magdalene's her birthname.
On a partly (un)related note; iirc, some of the bioreign relay posts had text speculating on Spencer and Mag's relationship potentially being more than professional.
Also, they never went into detail about the specifics and purpose of the catalysts, beyond just mentioning them as a necessity to establish a side-effect free and stable link between bionics and their users. Of course, the common interpretation is that they were all dipped in the volcano inside Mount Doom and then somehow magically forged into metallic body parts for their loved ones to use.

Spoiler:
I always have the assumption that there’s a facility that hosts the “catalysts” via status pod which link with the bionic parts of the host, and the bond is only sustained due to the emotional attachment link as described in the game. The reason why I bring the status tube/pod/whatever the machine may be, I remember that being some significance in the very first announcement trailer of Bionic Commando, showing a brief scene of a women inside one (I assume who is Spencer’s wife by the plot of the game). Would make much more sense than “that’s my wife!” in biological/DNA scene. That’s going way too far, or a silly one at that when considering the technology is not that too bat-shit insane on what was represented in the world we explored during the game.
