    ^ HAHAH.

Bionic Commando 3D was the worst piece of shit game I've ever played. I had fun playing it with friends and pointing out all the flaws and making up stupid puns about the game.

Looks like Spencer's wife could really use A HAND."

Those 2 things were the only things good about that game. Other than that. No.

I extremely excited about this news... though, please, spare us the 3D-crapfest (and everything else that floped with BC3D).

So, will it be a sequel to BC3D? Will it be BC3D2D? Would it be awesome? No!
    Fix'd.

Well, swing with pleasure and joy, you owner of a TreyStation. If you belong to them trophy whores, you may swing to your heart's content now! The magical trophies patch actually happened!

This thread reminded me that I still haven't beaten the first game. Huh. I actually got it(along with SSF2THDR) for free in a giveaway from John Diamonon on the PlayStation Blog. Pretty sweet, but I haven't really touched either game since I downloaded them over a year ago.

To cook together a copy pasta of a post I just made on the official Bionic Commando forums:

Okay, having watched the trailer a billion times by now, I think I've noticed something curious about the jump feature.

I believe we see a total of 6 jumps in the trailer.

    1st being after "Redeployed"
-He climbs a barrel. I'm guessing this is a contextual jump animation.

2nd is when they say "Reengineered" (to jump! They show this twice, but counting it only once)
-Here you see him jump straight up and down (before launching his arm to grab an out-of-reach platform)

3rd is when he does the first Death from Above
-Jumps out from a ledge in a cave to do a death from above.

4th is right after as he grabs a light post at the docks
-Jumps right before he launches his arm

5th is when he climbs the top of a building in the jungle
-He jumps right after climbing the top of the building

6th is cut in mid-way through the 5th jump
-See him fall down and do a death from above. (the angle he falls at and the lack of a ceiling shows it's a jump)

Now, why am I pointing out all the jumps when we know he can jump?

Notice that all the jumps that appears to go in a horizontal direction is only one block high (and I guess roughly 2 blocks long), while when he stands still and jumps straight up... he jumps two blocks high! Wonder if this is how the jump mechanics work... (jump higher when standing still than if you're moving in a direction)

Heh, I talked about Fatshark in the other thread but it never occured to me that they might be the development team behind BCR2!

I hope for a PC release. Such games are very profitable when sold via services like Steam, so I'm fairly sure it will happen.

I wonder how the controls are (since they're adding a jump button to the mix)

Also, hah, I spot a Death From Above move being used there!

(And, heh, FatShark and not Might and Delight. Wonder if Might and Delight's doing anything for Capcom too, since they've got such a BC:Rearmed focused site at the moment)

Trail0r looks great. Hopefully this'll bring online multiplayer too!

So this is not being developed by any of the team who worked on the first?

    bout Fatshark

Fatshark AB (founded 2008) is a Swedish game development studio located in Stockholm. Comprised of experienced and skilled developers, the company has been involved as subcontractors in a number of AAA titles for consoles as well as for PC.
EDIT: Just noticed that this has quite a fair share of ex Grin members, Lead 3d artist, etc. Good to see.

If that's case...does it take place after Rearmed one? I mean, we'll finally get another look at Spencer's career?
