For those who missed it, the video showed the "zombie" enemies attacking the player with axes/knives. It resembled the RE4 village a lot. There was also a chainsaw beheading.

Going from a Playstation interview, head shots may not be enough and sometimes they can pretend they died which reminds me of the old zombies from old RE.

It's hard to give a fair judgement on that footage because you can't hear anything. But it looks disappointing. Unnoriginal and not pretty.

1 Chainsaw enemy isn't bad, he may just be for the beginning of the game.

EW, robotic mechanics for a 3ds person plus super dr. salvador's uncle, not to mention the flickering textures.

i believe they will improve it till release.

I was kinda put off by the rehashed chainsaw enemy. The game has potential but if I end up just playing RE4 meets Silent Hill I will probably be disappointed.

The live action teaser promised more interesting ideas than chainsaw enemies again. Hard to gage the atmosphere on youtube though, lets me honest.

So... Basically, this is looking like Resident Evil 4 greatness distilled to the point of near perfection? This excites me more than RE6 did... I hope it comes to PC.
