Boll is without a doubt the worst. Anderson takes people's hopes of a cool video-game adaption, and then shits all over them...But, he's a good director. Uwe boll couldn't direct his head out of his ass. Alone in the dark, good game, movie...an abomination. The same with blood rayne. I never played the games but I heard decent reviews and then I heard he was directing the new movie and immedietly felt sorry for fans of the franchise. The movie of course sucked ass, and then I hear their making a sequel. Then, yesterday I turned on the tv and there on HBO is blood rayne 2. So, I looked at the info and apparently the blood rayne woman fights against who? Billy The Kid and his army of vampire cowboys.

Nope, there's a so-called "Funny Version" or "Funny Edition".

I didn't even know there was a funny edition of House of the Dead. I thought the original was funny enough.

I couldn't get past the tasteless opening sequence showing all those animals being butchered. Why, Boll, just why? It's like Uwe Boll really finds violence that damn funny. Why doesn't he go to his back yard and shoot himself in the head and see if it is funny, eh?

'cause even though it (Postal) is no Top Secret, Hot Shots 1 or Hot Shots 2, it's still the closest we've been to having a similar type of parody/comedy movie in this day and age (just with a tad bit of explicit content).

    Postal was and is awesome.

Yeah I heard about Postal. Even though I haven't seen it, it does look like a good funny movie, but it doesn't look like it takes much to direct a movie like Postal, not that I would know anything about directing.

Well, I havn't seen POSTAL but I'm voicing my opinion anyway.

Uwe Boll needs to be killed right now! He is the worst. Nobody else comes close to being as bad. He has to DIE!!!

I love the BloodRayne games and was really excited when I read they were making a movie (I didn't know who Uwe Boll was at that stage). That film was so shit it was jaw dropping. How could he get it so terribly wrong?! There wasn't a single good thing about it. Not one good scene! The style and subject matter from the game was there for the taking but Boll chose to completely ignore it all (worse, he took a big shit on it all). I can't imagine it being done any worse by anybody. It made me sick!
I rented the sequel. Why? Because I still love BloodRayne and thought maybe it will have at least a cool scene. It was probably slightly better but it had absolutely NOTHING to do with BloodRayne. Just bizarre...
My fear is that he's singlehandedly killed the franchise. Who would want to make or invest in another game, now that it will forever be attached to those movies?
But Boll's not deterred. A 3rd BloodRayne film is being made!!!

Anderson is better... Event Horizon was pretty good for a 'Hell Raiser in space' kinda rip-off. I thought Extinction was quite well directed but he didn't direct that. He was responsible for the shitty story and script.

Typing of the Dead is a fun game.

And definitely Boll. I agree with missvalentine, the RE movies are non-canon, so it doesn't bother me one bit. Whereas RE4 is canon, and it bothers me a lot. Gimme the RE movies as canon over RE4 anyday. Plus, yes, Mortal Kombat is great (second one... no comment. XD), I loved Death Race... and I still have yet to see Event Horizon.

Boll: Alone in the Dark. Even Christian Slater couldn't save that movie. D:
BloodRayne. Even Kristanna Loken couldn't save that movie. Neither could Meatloaf. Neither could Michelle Rodriguez.
Postal. ...Okay, seriously, who makes a movie about Bin Laden being butt-buddies with George W. Bush? Really?

I think Anderson can actually direct better than he can write. Artistic level of MK and the RE movie were pretty cool camera angles and rooms, the laser room for example.

Boll...ugh....house of the dead, great arcade games and all.....he just ruined it and I thought typing of the dead was the low point of the franchise....

I found it quite disturbing in parts (like the bath part where Sam is going absolutely nuts) and well written. The way it was shot was very good as well.

Hell in space is a good concept. Death Race was fun to watch, but it's braindead. That's the next film out of Anderson's back catalogue that is closest to being any good.

Boll just could not direct his way out of Guantanamo Bay.

Event Horizon is a pretty good Horror Film, i recomend renting it if you can, it's got some pretty gory scenes in it to, and it's scary is some parts, it proves that Anderson can actually be a good director when he wants to as well.
